Lunivop Metal case beats my expectations I would recommend this product
Today, I'll be reviewing the Lunivop Metal Hard Armor Case designed specifically for the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. This phone cover claims to offer a combination of rugged protection and premium design, with its metal hard armor, built-in glass camera screen protector, and military-grade durability. Let's dive into the details to see if it lives up to its promises.Design and Build Quality:The Lunivop Metal Hard Armor Case sports a sleek and robust design with a black finish, perfectly complementing the premium aesthetics of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. The use of metal in the construction adds to its durability and provides a sturdy feel in hand. The edges are well-machined, ensuring a secure fit for the device. However, users should keep in mind that the metal construction may add some weight to the phone.Compatibility and Protection:The case is specifically tailored for the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, offering precise cutouts for all ports, buttons, and the camera module. The built-in glass camera screen protector is a commendable addition, ensuring the camera lens remains shielded from scratches and impact damage. In terms of protection, the Lunivop Metal Hard Armor Case boasts military-grade standards, suggesting it can withstand accidental drops and impacts. During my testing, the case did a good job of safeguarding the phone from minor drops and bumps. However, I'd recommend using a screen protector to provide comprehensive protection for the phone's display.Functionality:The case does not hinder the phone's functionalities and allows easy access to all buttons, ports, and features, including wireless charging and NFC. The responsive buttons provide a satisfying click feel, which enhances the overall user experience.Heat Dissipation:One area where the metal construction might have its limitations is heat dissipation. Users should be cautious during prolonged usage of resource-intensive apps or gaming sessions, as the case may cause the phone to heat up more than usual.Aesthetics:The Lunivop Metal Hard Armor Case does add a rugged and industrial look to the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which may appeal to some users. However, it might not be the best fit for those seeking a slim or minimalist design.Pros:Rugged and durable metal construction for excellent protection.Built-in glass camera screen protector.Precise cutouts and easy access to all functions.Complements the design of the Galaxy S23 Ultra.Responsive buttons.Cons:Adds some weight to the phone.Limited heat dissipation due to the metal build.May not appeal to users looking for a slim design. Conclusion:The Lunivop Metal Hard Armor Case is a reliable choice for users seeking robust protection for their Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. Its metal construction, built-in glass camera screen protector, and military-grade durability offer peace of mind against everyday wear and tear. However, potential buyers should be aware that the case adds some weight and may impact heat dissipation. If rugged protection is your priority and you don't mind the added weight, the Lunivop Metal Hard Armor Case could be a worthwhile investment for your Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Great buy
Love the case it's very heavy I've dropped my phone a few times no damage. You do need to regularly check the screws though. I lost a couple the company sent me replacements

Dont buy
Terrible you don't get any phone service and it's not water proof in any way shape or form water gets in it and then it's a hassle to take back off and clean and dry it out

Solid Case, but theres a couple things
So far I have purchased 2 of these phone cases throughout several years due to the hazards of my job, this case has saved my phone on numerous occasions. lets talk about the different aspects of this phone case and how it could be improvedWeight: for those complaining that their phone becomes too heavy using this case, they either have weak wrists or didn't read that its made of metal. yes the case is metal with rubber surrounding the edges and IT WILL make your phone quite hefty, honestly I really like it and it feels solid as a result,Screws: there's mention that I've seen about how the screws will fall off eventually, and while I don't blame most for not knowing this but if you're reading this to decide if the case is worth it, know that I would highly recommend applying a small amount of blue lock-tite to help the screws resist vibrations from everyday use that are the result of them popping out, vie done this once when I first put the case together and the screws DO NOT fall off as a result so it seems that worked out pretty well. haven't even needed to replaced the screws with the spares yet, maybe this company should include small packets of lock-tite with the case lol.Glass Protection: the case boasts a screen and camera protector both made of glass but i cant help but feel the glass they used on the back is something different from the front because it collects scratches like a mother. needless to say the scratches on the camera protector DO accumulate and eventually i find myself having to remove the back glass and use another camera protector to keep the lens's shielded. this is personally my biggest gripe with the phone case since when there's enough scratches it'll start affecting the pictures you take. another thing that came up when thinking about the case is that the front glass with "squish" into your phones screen causing blotches on the front due to the glass making contact with your phones screen and while this doesn't damage your screen, its extremely annoying to release the pressure or just say screw it and live with seeing that on the front. Its also worth noting a major flaw with the case being the front glass protector. If you don't use fingerprints anyways, then you're fine. otherwise vie had to get used to using face ID and PIN to unlock my phone or use Samsung pass, otherwise it has withstood pretty bad falls without breaking, so its doing its core job just fine. if you absolutely need to, you can tear off the screen protectors and opt to use other brands that boast fingerprint capable glass protectors, me? i'll stick with the stock glass with an additional protector underneath with the privacy film.Kick Stand: Honestly i really like it, because the S23 Ultra comes with the S-Pen i have learned the hard way with other rugged cases that magnetic kick stands will mess with your S-Pen functions so i had to tear the magnets off them, this case however doesn't use magnets and its angle is fairly adjustable, only thing is i wish they placed it in the middle as opposed to the bottom of the case since this restricts the type of surfaces and angles you can get away with using it.Paint: This part is fully subjective but i don't mind the paint scratching off over time and i have noticed that exposure to excessive UV can eventually cause the paint to start peeling off entirely, thankfully with the frame made of aluminum there's not worry's for rust as far as i noticed. with my previous case i just opted to take some paint thinner and get it over with anyways (looks pretty cool in my opinion). but yes the paint does not last very long, around a month or two you'll see some wear, but it doesn't take away from the protection its capable of.Charger Port: both the charger and S-pen slot work really well and i haven't had any issues with them, in fact there have been times where my phone took a drop and knocked the S-pen out but i wouldn't notice because the flap the covers the S-pen keeps it in until you notice the S-pen icon in your notifications and rush to slot it back in. Charger port demands you don't use any thick ended charging cables but i hardly think its an issue nowadays, no problems there.Muffled Speakers: there's a reason i opt to using a Bluetooth speaker as opposed to my phones built in ones, and i have some issues with this. the case comes with some mesh to help block any dust from entering the case and clogging your speakers but the issue is, the mesh itself gets clogged up anyways and they're glued into the case very flimsily, i learned this the hard way when i went to use some canned air to clean the mesh out and ended up blowing out the mesh, rendering it useless. not a huge deal but very irritating. Otherwise the top call speakers are hardly affected so i can still hear the other person just fine. The back of the case: remember when i mentioned my job can pose some hazardous environments? yeah i work on a navy ship, and this is personally i massive issue i have. the back of the phone case comes with some rubber padding that i assumed is use for handling the phone? however with some other rugged cases like the Love Mei, the back rubber helps stop the phone from sliding around and provides solid grip. this case in particular slides around all over the place with no resistance and this is all due to the kickstand protruding out more than the rubber can cover, acting as the phones skates, allowing it to fall off the table. and sure maybe you don't work on a ship that bobs and sways constantly, but another instance where this can be a pain is when I'm driving and i put my phone on the dash, i have found myself almost sending it out the window. the weird part is, over time, the rectangular rubber on the back will deform over time and bulge out which THEN gives it some grip. a bit weird but that's how it is.I giving this case 4 stars because so far this has been my favorite rugged case, from all the ones i tried, and i love the way it looks and functions but there's a lot of minor inconveniences that can making using the phone a pain but ultimately i have bought 2 of these in the past and I'm on my 3rd for a reason and that's because i want to protect my then $1200 investment with a decent quality metal case that happens to be $20.

Meh
Not sure if it was just the one we recieved or what but everytime my wife would call me it sounded alien and would eventually make it so I couldn't hear her. Case is super secure with the screws but the sound profile messed it up for us. Got a new case from a different company and no issues

Poor quality
It is a poor quality phone protector will probably only last a month if lucky. It's front is made from that very scuffable and scratchable plastic. Back is missing 60% of the protection and is rubber. And what protecting the back cameras is that cheap plastic again. Thought it was like my other one. But it wasn't this one was 2 dollars more for way poorer quality.. I'll be looking for the other one

Protects 100%
Very heavy duty. Protects phone from all kinds of drops. Also by accidentally run overs by tires. Protected the phone very well. The only issue was that you have to unscrew the whole case to clean it every once in a while. Also a little on the heavy side but what can you expect out of something that will protect your phone 100%
