TimexMen's Resin Performance Sport Black Replacement Watchband

Great, simple band for an old (circa 1985) Timex watch. And, it came with the two spring studs to mount it on the watch, which it didn't specify in the item description; an added bonus. Other than that, it's a basic black rubber watch band.

Comfortable, well made, looks good, correct size, requires good eyes and nimble fingers to connect pins, but worth it.Shower proof. Hubbie lovers that.

It fits perfectly with my Timex watch unfortunately it doesn't come with 22mm lugs. I bought a 22mm wristband that was to tight and wasn't made for my Timex watch. The lugs had to be bent to for wristband. This wristband is a better fit for 22mm watches because the springs lugs are more accessible to be removed. Also like this wristband better because it's lighter.I only had one minor irritation from it that didn't last long after applying Clean and Clear Cream. I wear my watch 24 hours a day and rarely take it off.The package was just a plastic bag. It might has been sold previously. Usually watch replacements wristbands are sold in plastic cases. Timex doesn't sell OEM wristbands either this sold as an aftermarket for Timex watches.All resin wristbands will wear out over time from taking it off and putting it on. To make get longer life out of them it's one reason why I sleep with it on.

I ordered this to replace the original resin band on this watch, which only lasted about two years. It fits a little more snug than the original did, but it fits and works perfectly. Not sure why other reviewers are having problems unless they have Timex Expeditions different than mine. I recommend you measure the band space on your watch before purchasing one. I almost ordered an 18mm band for my watch before finding out I needed a 20mm band instead. It often seems difficult to accurately find this info from manufacturers. It wasn't easy to get the new band attached to my watch. I didn't have a tool specifically for this, so I used a very small and thin flat-head screwdriver to compress the spring pens enough to lock them into the watch. Had to lay the watch face down on the counter while holding each side of the band from above at a 45 to 90 degree angle so the pins in the band would then align with the watch slots. The pins in the band won't reach the watch slots if you lay both the watch and the bands flat on a table. It took a few attempts, but I was able to lock the pins and now the new band is secured to the watch and holds it to my wrist perfectly.

I got this band to go with a Samsung Gear S2 and it connects perfectly to the watch face. The rubber/plastic is a little hard in comparison to some silicone bands and it is pretty long. I have about a 6 3/4 inch wrist and it almost wraps all the way around on me. My other complaint, now that the quick release straps exist, is that it can be quite challenging to get the pins in and out. I know there is a tool, but the pins that came with the strap would not 'squeeze' enough to fit the Gear S2. I had to steal pins from an old watch in order for the band to fit. The Gear S2 requires a 20mm band and that's what i ordered so you would think the pins would work. I ended up purchasing a TYLT band (quite a bit more expensive) which is also very long but much softer and comes with the quick release straps/band which make a huge difference since I change a lot from leather for non-cardio days to silicone for sweaty cardio days. If you have the tool for the pin exchange and just need a plastic strap, this works well enough for the price.

This watch band started out great but less than a year later the strap cracked. The cracked plastic catches on clothing and it is truly dissipionting.

Ajustó perfecto con mi reloj CASIO. el plástico me parece de mediana calidad, espero que en duración aguante un buen tiempo. En cuanto a comodidad me gustó se siente suave al contacto de la piel.
