DynomaxUltra Flo 17219 Exhaust Muffler for Toyota Tacoma

Have these on a mustang with a 331. I had magna flows which droned badly. There is a subdued drone but not as bad as the magna flow. The ultras exhibit a deep powerful sound and subjectively sound better to me than the magna flow and super turbos ive had on the same motor. These are a great value for the money and seem to be built well.

These things are nice strong build quality and nice welds. Straight through design should make for great flowing exhaust. Can’t wait to hear what they sound like

I installed these on my 85 C10 with 355 V8, AFR Heads, Mild Cam 1-5/8 long tube 3" collector headers and 2.5" full-length mandrel bent dual exhaust with an H-pipe. This is a great muffler overall in my opinion, I was actually expecting it to be louder because of the straight-thru design but they have a smooth tone without any drone. It's quiet enough to carry on a conversation in the cab at 2-2200 rpm until you step on it. Even on the throttle hard there is no rap, drone, or harsh tone but much louder than cruising down the highway.

Bought it on the recommendation of a mechanic friend. It is exceptionally well made. And for my taste a bit louder than I prefer.I do however like the increased fuel mileage( 1.7mpg average )... While it is louder than my stock Tacoma exhaust, it is not obnoxiously loud...

Replaced a pair of Magnaflows with these after I got sick of listening to exhaust drone. These have a deeper sound and mellow at idle. Full throttle sounds great and have gotten lots of compliments on the sound. These are installed on a Escalade EXT with a built high compression 408ci BTR cam, ported heads, long tube headers, 3" X pipe and true dual exhaust with no cats. The Magnaflows worked great with a stock motor and short headers with cats. After I built the motor and replaced the headers they sounded like glasspacks.

Quality built

Put this on my 22 Hyundai Santa Cruz turbo. Lighter than the suitcase muffler it came with and MUCH BETTER SOUNDING... Great aggressive tone when you hit the gas, but no drone at hywy speeds. You can feel the freed up difference. Super happy.

Installed a pair on my hotrod with a sbc 383stroker and dual 2.5" with an x pipe.Replaced a pair of superturbo 17733.Didn't feel much hp gain even if most test would call for about10 to 15 rwhp gain over more restrictive semi performance muffler.The sound is much more powerful, not raspy, just a deep tone at wot and somehow civilized at cruise.No drone in my setup.Love them so much.
