Disappointed that most of these tunes introduce chords that don’t sit well in the hymns. A nice idea poorly implemented. Comparing tune in the book to those available on the web there is no competition - I feel I have wasted my money.

This book is an ideal introduction to simple worship guitar. The worship songs chosen have been simplified to make it easier for the beginner guitarist to play them. With Christmas songs and also it has a selection of American Patriotic Songs - Star Spangled banner, My Country 'Tis of Thee etc. (which I am not sure about for the international market). However a few of the chord shapes are not diagrammed and so it is expected that you will join “worshiptheking.com” in order to learn how to play certain chord shapes (Such as Bm/A) though easy to find on line without joining the site.Over all it is a good beginner’s book that will have the guitarist playing along to some of their favourite worship songs in a short time.

I like that there's something for everyone, like hymns, Christian rock, children, Christmas. What I didn't know is that a lot of the songs are by I guitarist I'd never heard of, so these songs I didn't know.
