Not sure if it’s user error but I’ve been flattening my hair for years and never found an iron I liked less. I hate that the straightening brush just stays open while in use. It’s awkward and not user friendly. Most important the iron would not heat higher than 230 degrees no matter what I did. The controls are in an inaccessible spot and again, am I using it wrong? For me this was a total waste of money and I’m returning it as fast as I can. I’ve never hated a flat iron. I have been neutral but never 100% dissatisfied. I wish I could give it zero stars. Maybe I got a defective one, but it feels flimsy, the plates don't even close evenly. A big NO for me.

This actually worked better than expected. My hair is curly and gets very frizzy without straightening or putting lots of hair product in it. I used this on dry hair and I am able to straighten my long hair in 20 mins! It is very relaxing too! Since it is more like brushing your hair than flat ironing.You need to use a another brush to handle your hair since it gets pretty hot after running through the hot brush. Also it is best to comb under the hair to get some resistance on the brush for best results. If their is moisture in the hair I will run a flat iron after to smooth out the baby hairs.

It's a nice flattener, I really like the comb part but it doesn't get very hot. The flattener itself does good as well, it just seems to take a lot longer than it did with my old one. It gets the job done though, and I can't really complain because the price is great.

I bought this and tried it out. I have thick and coarse natural red hair. For some reason, it did not straighten my hair and it seemed plenty warm enough to do so. The hot brush portion pulls your hair no matter how many times you brush the tangles out with your normal brush. The flat iron itself pinches your hair and pulls it too. The digital display does not shut off if it’s plugged in, even when it is turned off. It’s a neat idea in theory but poorly executed. I think with some improvements, it could be awesome. But until then, I will stick with my $30 Remington Shine Therapy flat iron.

Difficult to use and didn’t get hot enough-could not create curls

I planned to return this hair straightener but forgot, not easy to use in my opinion. Might work for some hair types, just not mine.

It’s difficult to find hair straightener that work wonders for thick hair so I was surprised by just how little time it took on my hair. The comb attached feature is incredibly practical. It saves me time and the hassle to work another hair comb. But what I love most about this straightener is that it works amazing as a curler too! It’s not hard to make curls and the results are stunning! It’s easy and definitely worth the value. This is a recommended all-in-one.

I am looking for an all-in-one straightener and curler. Now I found it. This is a great product! It works fantastically! Love it heats up fast and you can use it as a flat iron, curling iron or both at same time! My hair didn’t smell burnt like with some other irons and was smooth and shiny after using the iron. I would definitely recommend it!
