Red Satin Ribbon 1 Inch & 50 Yards - Super Soft for Gift Wrapping - Make Beautiful Decorations With Our Durable and Thick Double Faced Roll

I was only able to use about 12 inches of ribbon before the spots appeared. I thought it might be just a few inches I would lose, but as I continue to unroll, the ribbon is covered with those weird spots. The entire roll of this ribbon has spots. The fact that the color is gold makes the spots more obvious so I can't use it for what I wanted. I tried calling the customer service number twice but nobody answers. I would appreciate an email from Topenca to have the ribbon replaced. Maybe it's just a bad batch of ribbon, unfortunately I received it and now cannot use it.

I’m a florist and had an order for 60 corsages which start out with a small bow. The bow takes just under 2’ to make so I thought 1 roll would be sufficient.So if you do the math, this 50 yard roll is 150’ so divide that by 2’ - I should have been able to make 75 in theory.Well, I only got 58 and my bow making skills are top notch and consistent. So I feel like I was shorted about 11 yards. Darnit. This is annoying and it’s too late to order another roll. So my corsages are not going to be the same for the client that ordered them.

This is NOT a continuous 50 yards of ribbon. This is the second time I've bought ribbon from this brand (first time it was in white) and the ribbon was literally cut and taped together in the middle of the spool. I'm trying to make ribbon leis and I need one long smooth ribbon - not a taped up lie. I'm never purchasing from this company again, which is unfortunate because the quality of the ribbon is great - but I won't be scammed again. Don't buy from this brand unless you only need short lengths of ribbon.

This ribbon works great for packaging my handmade jewelry. One small gripe, though: The roll I received is full of bends - not wrinkles, bends. I'm not sure if I received a somewhat defective batch, or not, but there are actual creases in the fabric. I tried ironing about a 2 foot piece, but I'm pretty sure it began to melt. Not only would I be unable to use a piece of ribbon that's half-melted, LOL, but I wouldn't be able to dedicate the time needed to press it. I already wish there were more hours in the day as it is, haha.I tried to pull (for lack of better terms. I'm not "usina muh werds good", I suppose, LOL) the ribbon flat, but that just left me with a stretched out piece of ribbon that was longer down the center than it was at the edges. Bummer.I gave this four stars as it's a beautiful color, a nice thickness, and I AM able to use it for the reason in which I purchased it. It's a great price, and I'm more likely than not to buy it again, but will keep my fingers crossed that I receive a wrinkle/bend-free spool next time!

I purchased this ribbon in several colors, but will just leave one review.The colors are very true, the quality is very very good. It is double sided as advertised. The ends did not frey.I would buy again, and recommend it to a friend. I used it to “finish” sachets that I am giving as gifts. It is a great “finishing touch”!

This ribbon is ok. For the quality I don’t think it’s really worth the money. I’ve bought better quality and longer length at lower price, so save your money and buy a different brand. The ribbon gets snagged and separates in a way that suggests it isn’t true satin ribbon. In my picture the yellow is this product, while the blue is a different brand, and you can see where the yellow snagged while I was cutting in a way that satin ribbons don’t. It is also grainy, and has a very loose weave.

While this ribbon is nice, it is NOT baby pink, which is what I ordered. This is for Breast Cancer awareness, so it really needed to be pink. It's peach. It's not even close to pink. Since the front cardboard label was torn off (which is the part that has the name of the color of the ribbon), it makes me wonder if someone ran out of pink and just substituted this hoping it would work. If that's what happened, it doesn't work - at all. If that's not what happened, this is fraudulent marketing. This is not pink - not by a long shot. The picture is definitely pink, but this ribbon is definitely peach. Won't be returning since that's too much trouble...so I'm stuck with peach ribbon that won't work for my Breast Cancer awareness.... So disappointed! There were other places I could have bought this - I should have.
