Decent but could be better
Overall it’s a nice costume/prop sword for the price. Mine arrived with a nice quality painted finish. However, the edges from the mold that it came from were very sharp and takes away from the look and feel of the product. Not sure why the edges were not sanded or buffed before paint but it’s not an expensive item so it’s not a dealbreaker. Attempting to trim the edges with a razor will take some of the finish off and will cause it’ll look worse so I will just have to leave it as is. Also it is not balanced weight wise. All the weight is in the blade and there is no weight in the hilt where it needs to be. I realize all this sounds extremely nerdy to voice. I am not a reenact on the weekends I promise lol. I just like fine quality products and this one misses the mark a little bit. Still worth the money for my pirate costume for Halloween :)
