I is sturdy and if you need an extension than this is it.
I got this because my shower head was installed incorrectly. However, I could not use on my shower arm.I wanted to send it back but because I could not find a Ups close by to me to print out the return label, The company or Amazon would not send one to me to print out. Therefore, I lost my money on this extension arm. However, if you do need this to extend out your shower head then this is the one you want.

Lowers too high shower head
Perfect for lowering my shower head. I’m neither particularly tall or short but the shower nozzle in my apartment was quite high and I love a powerful spray. This brings the direct spray just enough closer to my head to be perfect.

There are rubber washers in the cloth the arm comes in. Use them , easy and no leak
Do use a washcloth on the pipe or something to protect the pipe when using a wrench to get the old off and new one on, otherwise might damage the finish. Might not need a wrench to get the new pipe on if the washer meets an older part that is in good condition.I can do plumbing, I went to Ace to get a washer instead of using tape only, then noticed later there are 2 better washers inside the sleeve the arm is shipped in. Only need 1.You Don't really need tape if you are lucky, but i use my premium tape plus the washer for overkill and no leak. Again, you will damage the finish if you use a wrench without any cloth or gripper to protect the pipe from the wrench teeth. Overall i recommend this product.

Did the job
I purchased this for my dad who is 6’2” and had a low shower head at his assisted living facility. It raised the shower head enough for him to fit under it

Shower extension for shower head. Put this in middle of shower.

Weak design very poor quality!
It was very weak, broke right in half during installation. Horrible quality! Barely put any tension on it. Wouldn't stop leaking prior to breaking. It broke right above the threads. Snapped in half. I have never experienced anything like it. Not sure what they made this product out of, but definitely not durable material.

No es funcional
El tubo no es completamente hueco, tiene una pieza hexágonal interna en los extremos donde conecta con el brazo, por lo que bloquea los orificios para cambio de dirección del agua de la siguente piezaAparentemente las piezas donde están los hexágonos se desarman, o por lo menos la parte que va a la tubería, ahora esa pieza esta atascada en mi pared y no la puedo sacar, lo que podría ocasionar un problema mayor
