Hoosier Hill Farm - Original Yellow Popping Corn (1.81 kg) Gourmet American Popcorn Kernels

The media could not be loaded.  These kernals are a good size, really tasty and there are few that don't pop; comes in a large plastic tub that will last for ages. I love making my own popcorn on my cooker hob and these corn kernals are great every time. I use a large pan, add about 1 tablespoon of coconut oil and pop a couple of kernals in on a medium heat to test and get everything to the right temperature. Once the test kernals have popped, I take off the heat and remove the popped corn; sprinkle in some salt to taste, add a few handfuls of popcorn kernals, pop the pan lid on and shake. Put back on the heat and wait for the magic to happen...delicious!

I bought these back in March so that we would have something for an easy snack when 'lockdown' first started, as I was finding it difficult to get them in local supermarkets. These are great and I'm on my second pack. They are such good quality I can pop them with no oil in a heavy cast iron pot, all the kernels pop and they taste nutty and fresh. Easy tub with a good quantity for storage.

I regularly eat popcorn as a pleasant and healthy stomach filler. There are many brands to choose from but non of them have the attributes of Hoosier. They are crispier, do not have the texture of blotting paper and they have a slightly floury aroma....but that could be the cold press Oil Seed Rape I use.It's important to follow the popping instructions.The price seems a quite high, but for 1.8kg it works out no more expensive than supermarket corn....and there's a handy jar to store it in.In the UK popcorn is associated with the heavy sugar coated stuff sold at the cinema. If it were more popular as a savoury snack, I think it would be in much heavier demand. Just don't over do the sprinkling of salt!

Tasted nice but I need to look into how to flavour popcorn in general

We wanted some popping corn for our new hot-air popcorn maker, and the Hoosier Hill Farm popcorn didn’t disappoint. Well packaged, pops really fast and tastes great - our kids (and the adults) couldn’t be happier. Great value, and the tub is sturdy too and will store well. Highly recommended.

We tried this popcorn as we have tried many others but mainly oil based popping methods. We used a hot air air popping machine with these Kernels as it is more of a healthy option for snacking throughout the day.The Jar of kernels is massive, they will last a long time as you do not need a lot for one serving which is good as we snack on popcorn all the time.Every Kernel popped without any of them being spat out which is great and they taste pretty good on their own. We bought Caramel and butter seasoning to add after popping and it makes them taste phenomenal.Will definitely be buying more of these when this jar runs out. I highly recommend these kernels to anyone looking to popcorn for a snack.

nice packaging for a 2kg of popcorn. Delivery was also smooth. product is OK-ish, would not define them gourmet. a lot of kernels left overs and chewy. There are better options around I think

Very good quality, it is my first time ever to try doing popcorn myself so was not very optimistic, I was surprised to find that over 98% of corns popped, was very delicious and very easy to make after one YouTube video. Will definitely buy again. Excellent price, quality and Quantity.

This popcorn is by far the best I've ever had!!Flavorful down to the last kernel, it always pops fully.Compared to brands in stores, this company is the best value.
