This is a brilliant addition to my iPhone 8, which has developed a shorter battery life. With this charging case the phone can be charged up as required and will easily last a long day or more. You just need to press the “charge” button on the back of the case when you feel your phone battery needs a boost, and then it will start charging until it’s at 100%, or until you press the button again. Of course it makes the phone a bit thicker and heavier, but it still easily fits in a jeans pocket. It’s also a smart looking case which provides buffers on the corners to protect your phone. I have a separate screen protector on the phone as the case doesn’t protect the screen from scratches.I bought this case 3 years ago and still working as it is bran new

Broken the Opening case socket in just after opening 2-3 times, now i have to put tape there, otherwise everytime i move out phone from pockets, the upper part of the case fall down, but the battery power is good, it charges your phone 2.5 times.

After seeing the capacity of the battery in comparison to the SE 2020 stock battery I mistakenly thought this would allow me 3-4 times as long between needing to plug my phone in (1800mAh vs this 6800mAh). Unfortunately either I've gotten a duff battery or the 6800mAh is over exaggerated, as I still need to plug it in once every 36 hours instead of the 18-22 hours with just the iphone's built in battery.When this is fully charged it works well enough, in that it charges the phone quite quickly, but depletes before the phone's battery is back to 100% (and I've been charging from phone about about 30% and case at 100%). When charging the phone with the case connected to charger it reaches a max of 91%, and then starts the process of charging the case which takes about 8 hours.Overall I wouldn't recommend this product, it gives maybe double the battery life of the stock iphone battery, but it is as bulky as the old 3310s and ends up taking a really long time to charge it unless I remove the phone first

My son had this for his 3rd Hand iPhone 5 - would have been unusable without it. It did the job then I took it over for my iPhone SE. Finally gave up the ghost after about 2-3 years of punishment, I lost the top then the case eventually fell apart. bought this replacement for around £22. It has saved me needing a new phone or battery which are at least £50 from apple. Moreover this gives you a much better battery life than even a new battery. It is a case that protects your phone. I charge it with the phone in and it fully charges the case and the phone. When the battery on the phone is nearly flat, press the button at the back and first of 4 cells fully recharges the battery. You can do this until your fourth cell is exhausted. Gives a full days use easily in my opinion. It is in effect a battery bank but much more convenient as a case. Make sure you get the right one for your phone.

This case has an unusually small opening around the "lightning" connector socket.Many after-market "lightning" cables are terminated in a piece of plastic(out of which the metal connector protrudes) that is physically too fat to go into the moulding / socket on this particular case.However a genuine Apple connector cable, as supplied originally with the iPhone, does not suffer from this issue.Even if you find a connector cable that can be inserted (well done) - be careful! Any stress on (or flexing of) that connection can bend the connector at the end of your cable and permanently break the connection. This can happen for example if the phone slips off a surface and falls to the floor while still cable-connected.I have experienced both of these issues in the first 2 days of use.Hence the 3 stars rather than 5.However, if you take great care and manage to avoid those issues, then this case does seem to provide a good and useful energy reserve for your compatible iPhone model (in my case, an iPhone SE2020).

Nothing to dislike - easy to set up - and suddenly my Apple SE could last for 48 hours without recharging. Only minor criticism - the instructions didn't include a description of how you boosted your phone battery from the battery case.

When charging my case ( with phone in it ) even though I was using an official iphone cable, it kept flashing up on the screen "not supported". I then noticed that it DID seem to charge but only up to 40% from mains. I was ready to send item back as a few others had said the same thing on here ( only charges to 40% ) and then I thought I'd charge it using a different cable ( still in my mind, the same iphone cable ) and oddly it DID charge all the way up to 100%!!! It charges the phone very slowly...so best to do overnight, but it does work.So any others having a similar problem, try a different cable.

the battery stopped working after 3 months

This is the second of this model battery case I have purchased for my older iPhone SE. The previous one worked great for years before the battery eventually swelled and cracked the case. They are priced cheap enough that I don’t mind buying another one. Swollen batteries can happen, I’ve had to replace the battery in my actual iPhone once because it’s battery swelled and popped off the glass face screen. Anyway, this battery/case combination works fine. You should know, though, that the product is so “generic” that the manufacturer’s name is not on the item, the box, or even the instruction booklet.

The media could not be loaded. The Battery Case for iPhone by Juboty, is a decent case with an average size battery, but since you get them together, it feels a little special. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying.I. Quality – Its only average quality that I’d put in the middle of the quality scale and would expect a really long or great life of service.II. Performance – The battery seems to charges fast enough to gain phone battery even while using the phone. With 6800mAh it’s a decent size battery, but lower than many that start at 10,000mAh and go up. It’s definitely big enough to get you a few charges and be very usable. The case is better than no case and provides a way to charge without a pesky cord, which is very nice. However, the case is very thin and doesn’t provide much real protection. Most of my cords didn’t charge the charger, because you need a long tip on your cable to work.Overall, this is a great way to combine both battery and case and give you a way to extend your battery without it being very noticeable. I personally prefer to have a better case on my phone and don’t want to take it off just to use this one, so I won’t be using it much. However, if you like gel cases or don’t use a case, this might be a great option for you to multiply your battery power.
