Great for cats too!
My babies have grown beyond the need for baby food, but now I'm buying this in large quantities for my elderly cat who needs calorie help. I mix it in with her regular wet food, and she loves it.

Use it to put dog pills in
My dogs can't have peanut butter & this works well to cover their daily pills.

Foster cats love it but...
UPDATE: 10/21/22 - I last purchased this 12 pack on: 09/13/22 for: $14.14. Today, 10/21/22 there is one (1) Buying Option, 3rd party - $29.99. Time to check out alternate products.08/24/22- Gerber (aka: Nestle) has changed the appearance of the labeling of jars & it seems not just the labeling has been changed but the product contained within. While I have noticed over the past couple months when I purchase these "meat" varieties, especially the Chicken version, it pours out - literally like water causing me to actually check the ingredient listing to verify which is listed first- water or chicken. Still says chicken as 1st ingredient but I'm wondering if this is being experienced elsewhere. I waited to update this review to see if I was just unlucky but it's been a couple months & whether retail store or Amazon purchase, the Chicken version recipe particularly, has been modified significantly, seeming to be more water than chicken. It would seem to be consistent across all sites of purchase- I just happen to purchase the large amounts from Amazon & as a fill in, purchase in retail stores. If refrigerated, it will thicken somewhat but that's only a method used for leftovers. In addition, along with every other purchase in the current market, the individual jar costs where I live is $1.59- $1.79 per jar so it's more economical still to purchase in the quantities offered thru Amazon & these packages are not available in retail outlets in my location in California. My one cat has issues with chunky cat food products & I'm left with this alternative which has become quite costly when there are multiple cats in a home who have their particular tastes but this one has a specific need. Let me say, these cats came to me when i moved to my current location, ferals & strays, neutered, spayed & vaccinated due to an irresponsible community & high cost services unless a generous donor or grant comes to town, those of us with limited incomes are the ones who care for these animals. I have noticed many reviews who use these products for the same populations for a variety of reasons. It has become a costly venture when no other choices will work but it would be nice if with the cost increase there would remain some quality control & not a diluted product with higher prices. This is a manufacturer issue, not Amazon.I just happen to Purchased numerous times over past year for an elderly cat & then for foster kitten. As far as flavor -I will assume they enjoy the chicken flavor, which is their favorite. Since I have placed so many orders I noticed the consistency of the product varies with each shipment- some are thicker & kind of lumpy while others can be thin & smooth. Today I wanted to place another order so I went into my Order History, found my last purchase of this same product @ the beginning of August 2021, which I paid $9.40 each 10 pack & clicked the "Buy Again" feature which brought me to the place I purchased previously & that same 10 pack is $23.44! Seriously? This seems to happen more often than not. When a product has high demand-suddenly it's offered under "See all buying options" & the product has a ridiculous price. My cats might love this but I will find them an alternate. Price gouging isn't the way to keep customers.

I buy this as a treat (and medicine disguiser) for cats. They do love it.

Perfect for my finicky feline
I have a senior cat who I had tried oodles of canned cat foods for him to eat. He refused everything! He was losing weight until I decided to try “baby food”. He gobbled it up & has steadily gained weight as a result. Chicken is his favorite.
