I've had it for almost 2 years now
I purchased this bike in Feb of 2021. When I receive the bike the battery wasn't functioning properly, but I received quick response from the customer service who sent a new battery once it was determined the original was defective.I use the bike primarily for exercise & have been very pleased with it. I've ridden in heavy sand or snow and have found it to do surprisingly well. I can easily reach speeds in excess of 30mph, but find it to be uncomfortable at those speeds because of the tire size & bicycle weight. I live in a relatively hilly area & have no trouble climbing hills or riding up continuous grades for an extended period of time. I would say that if this one isn't good enough for you on steep hills, the next step up would require a mid-mount motor ebike. But for most locations I think it does really well. The main complaints I have have been fixed in the newer version. They would include the control box location ( I changed mine by putting it in a triangle bag as seen in the image attached), all the wiring on the outside of the frame, and the size of the large front chain ring is too small. The other 2 gears & the derailer are totally unnecessary on the front sprocket. All these have been fixed on the newer version and the price is lower too. This is my 1st ebike, but I looked at several in the local bike shops & they could not compare to the power this one has & were twice the price. I bought this for exercise so I never ride it without pedaling and typically get at least 30 miles per charge & as much as 50 when I keep the pedal assist to my absolute min. I once broke the chain when a large stick flew into the front sprocket while i was chasing my run away dog through the woods and it was nice that I had the throttle control to get back home.I get a lot of compliments on the looks of the bike & plan to make a lot more modifications in the future. Personally, I think it's the best value on Amazon especially with the current $300 coupon. I'm almost tempted to sell mine & buy the new version ;-)

Beast of an eBike
I bought this as a commuter e-bike that I can also take on trails for exercise and a little fun. I must say after just a few days owning it, this bike is pretty rad. From the looks to the performance, it's all there. There's definitely a bit of assembly required out of the box (and you'll likely need to buy your own pedals in advance since it probably won't come with pedals) but once it's all dialed in, this thing is a real beast. It's easy to ride, power assist levels 1 through 5 making it very versatile. The pedal-assist power gets triggered when you peddle, but it seems there's a slight delay built in to that function for safety. For example, if you're sitting in traffic stopped at a red light waiting to cross the intersection and you have the PAS setting high, say on 4 or 5 -- if it engaged as soon as you started pedaling with no delay, it would likely jerk or "buck" you around so I can see why it waits a second once you start pedaling so you can get your balance after pushing off right before it kicks in.This is my first e-bike, but it seems like it's a little sluggish to respond with full-electric using just the throttle, but once it's going, it's going. I'm fairly stocky weighing in around 215lbs but this thing got up to 50km per hour on a flat paved surface. The hydraulic breaks work very well if you need to stop quickly. The hydraulic brakes seem to be a feature you find at a certain price range, this bike has many (if not all) of the features of bikes double the price of this one or more.(Possible) Cons:It is a bit on the heavy side, around 80lbs dead weight before you add any gear, so you'll get a little upper body workout just moving this thing around, etc.Wish the seller offered the option to purchase an extra OEM battery.I'm very satisfied with the bike so far overall, I would purchase it again.

Great bike, revised
I have had this bike for about a year and a half, about 430 miles on the bike. The forks have rusted, the spokes have all rusted, the fender brackets have all rusted. I love the bike but the paint prep/painted surfaces suck…….bike still rides great but the rusting parts would push me to buy a different e bike.I have had this bike a few weeks and am pretty please with this purchase. The bike came nearly assembled, took me about 30 minutes to put it together. I just noticed today that the handle bars which are preassembled were assembled backwards (see picture). I fixed that today in about 30 minutes. Riding the bike is very easy, shifts well, power comes on nice and smooth, battery life seems pretty solid. I mainly use PAS and I have gotten the bike up to 34mph on a flat road. I am hearing a ticking noise when I pedal, when in full electric mode it doesn’t make the noise.....going to take some investigating. I would have given the bike 5 stars but the noise and being delivered with backwards handlebars deducted 1 star.

Very fast shipping, quality so-so.
So I bought this bike 4 weeks ago to commute 12kms to work, so far it has been pretty good but I am worried about the quality after a few months, the electric motor makes some noise the odd time and the brakes also make some rubbing noises here and there. The pedal sensor is starting to fall out so I will have to find a way to keep it together yet still waterproof as I do plan to ride this year round in Saskatchewan. The battery life is great, in pedal assist mode at about 30km/hr I get about 5-6 hours of riding before I need to charge it. I have got it going 52.5kms/hr, pretty fast and fun bike.Update after 2 months, I have contacted the seller on Amazon regarding the pedal sensor, they provided me with a cell phone number to communicate easier over text, I did some troubleshooting and they provided very clear direction on what to test, very quick responses and they are shipping me a new part. Also I broke the plastic charging port on the battery, they sent me a video and are shipping me the replacement port and this all happened within 6 minutes of the initial question to them.Update after 8 months, I have rode this bike everyday to work, coldest day was -45, and even through blizzards, drifts of snow 3’ deep and the with the tires deflated to 7psi float well in the snow, the battery life was much less in the cold (always removed and brought inside when not in use) but that was expected, now that it is warming up the battery life is getting better again, I had no trouble with this bike all winter commuting daily to work 12kms each way and have 2800kms on the bike. One concern is the noise from the electric motor, I contacted the seller and they recommend that the gears in the electric motor assembly be regreased regularly, this makes a huge difference but it is not an easy job, need to take the wheel off, (will get greasy from the chain) and open up the hub, remove the electric motor, this is not hard for someone handy, but some mechanical knowledge is required.Update after 19 months - I have 5000 kms on the bike, with regular maintenance adding grease to the hub motor it is a fantastic bike, highly recommend this bike as I have used it in all conditions, rain, blizzards, 5 months of snow/ice riding, 7 wipeouts, -45, +38, sand, Sun, hills and it has not let me down and the battery still holds a charge like new. I have always kept the battery warm in the winter by removing it and taking to the office, also keep it fully charged after each ride.

very nice
very nice bike, just a few pieces to assemble,. lots of power..way easier to ride than expected...thought fat tires would make it harder to pedal..heck no! two little things, bolt to adjust seat is a , actually don’t know what tool you need to undo, triangle shape, anyway i made a tool and it’s fine..other issue instructions are not easy to figure out, thank god for people making you tube videos, i recommend this bike...

Sheng Mi Lo MX 02S
The delivery was quicker than anticipated but the bike was everything I asked for. The little smart meter screen had a crack in it from transport. I simply put tape on it to attempt protection until I get a new one. I called the Sheng MI Lo Canadian dealer who was very pleasant to deal with. Without a whole lot of questions he told me that one would be in the mail immediately. The bike itself is amazing. great on trails and so quiet with loads of power and speed. Absolutely no issues so far.
