Brought this for a king size bed. It arrived with leads which click in each side of the blanket and a good diagram to show you what to do, but it is really easy. You will need a plug each side of the bed. You can vary the heat on each side which works really well if your partner likes different temperatures. It has elastic which holds it securely in place so it does not ripple up.

I noticed when unpacking there are only 4 loops to attach the kingsize electric blanket. It came with one large piece of string. I think the loops have been missed off by mistake. The instructions said secure at the corners with four pieces of string. They are dan gerous if not properly secured as can crease. I cut the string and pulled the string twice under the mattress. I've flattened it with an elasticated mattress protector. I'm goi g to have to stitch loops on in the future.

Very simple to use, three settings only - setting three is piping hot! Setting 1 is enough to sleep on if it’s really cold (I avoid putting the heating on at night).There is, like a lot of the electric blankets, a bit of a flat lump where the connector is but I’ve never had a blanket that doesn’t do that. It also has strings - I don’t really have a problem with movement of the blanket so no complaints there.I have put 4/5 for temp control as though it is beautifully hot, there is no timer setting so would need to get a timer switch for the plug as a workaround.This review is based on the product I bought in 2018 and I just ordered my second one for the guest room so it is in working order on both sides after 4 years.

Purchased this as my husband is often hot when I feel cold so having the freedom to warm my side of the bed without affecting his comfort is amazing! It heats quickly and stays warm for a while after so not much eletric needed. Only downside would be the rope that ties it down but it's not a big issue.

Would be 5 stars but feel that the coverage of my king size blanket could be a touch bigger. Having said that it works perfectly and the two independent controllable zones are very useful. Highly recommended.

It came without the strings so I couldn’t strap it to the bed which was annoying. I got a king size and it still isn’t big enough for a normal double for the wiring not to be in the way so you end up laying on a big plastic bump. Heats up really quickly. Could do with an automatic switch off as my daughter forgets to turn it off so it’s left on all day as well. It could do with more heat settings.

Instead of 4 straps to secure to the mattress there was 1 long strap.... not a problem as it can be cut. However only 1 loop about 6 inches down on each side of the blanket ie 4 in total. How do you secure across the corners of the bed with no loop halfway along the top and bottom she's of the blanket?? Worries it will crease and overheat.

Product was faulty as only one side of the blanket warmed up due to one of the controllers being faulty.
