Just to give a bit background about me: I have light skin and dark brown hair, however not too hairy. I was kind of sceptical about how this IPL device would perform after watching some reviews online. I read the instructions put my glasses on (it comes with the device), start using the device exactly it was instructed on the manual. After 2-3 weeks, I have seen a huge difference on my arm hair. Mind you, you absolutely need to shave your hair all the way down (don't epilate or wax it won't work). I still regularly use it after two months and reduce to twice a week. I think it's fairy easy to use, it never burns me sometimes you feel a little pain but rarely. It doesn't take too long to do my both legs. There are some areas will definitely need more treatments but overall it's absolutely amazing. My arms are almost hairless now.

It's not my first IPL device, I have had Braun which was too painful to use and can't see much difference after use. I started my IPL treatment from the first day I received this Ulike device, now I have finished 4 sessions,compared to other I have bought before, this is the most powerful IPL I have ever had, but it's the most painless one I have even owned as well. I barely feel any pain during the treatment, instead it's very cool sensation after each pulse, also I can see my hair follicles fade way on my chest and tummy after only 4 sessions. I'm quite surprised to be honest, didn't expect this much effect. I will continue use it, and hopefully it would keep long term result.

Short disclaimer: I have fair, sensitive skin (shaving would just make my legs bleed) Now with that being said I had to alter the recommended times per week use, so my journey to achieve a hairless body will be a bit longer but it’s worth it. Pain wise: if you have small cuts on your leg, you will feel a slight zap (still manageable compared to the painful experience of using epilators) The sound level while using it is good too. It doesn’t overheat, which is an added plus. It’s super easy to use, been using it now for over a month and have noticed less hair growth on the areas that I have used it on. All in all it’s good investment and you do get value for your money

There are three different settings to best suit what area of the body you want to remove hair.The laser works best on darker hair and you need to shave the hair before using the laser as the laser targets destroying the hair root and follicle.Good quality gadget to use but expensive.
