This matcha is fresh and good quality
The delivery arrived within the estimated arrival dates. I found the matcha to be fresh and it seemed to have a good flavour. I had no problems with sifting the matcha in my sifter container. I am happy with my matcha order.

The best matcha I've found to-date
The color is bright, vibrant green, not dark green. Great flavor w natural sweet taste, not bitter, grassy or fishy. Blends really well (I sift into a milk frother w milk for matcha lattes). By far my favorite matcha, such a joy to drink every morning. Wish it was just a little bit better priced, but still overall great value. I've tried Matcha Ninja (not ceremonial, very greige green not bright green like their marketing pictures, no taste, I have to add 4-5x the amount to get some color and flavor). Do Matcha Organic Summer Harvest is good but not as good as Aiya's; the color is not as bright but has a nice flavor. DavidsTea organic Ceremonial is also good, good flavor, great color, but a lot more expensive.

Sold on Aiya
I really like the Aiya ceremonial (100g) grade matcha. I tried some sample packs which were much better than my current matcha so I decided to give it a try. While more expensive than my previous matcha, Aiya was demonstratably better - from the the vivid green colour, easy frothing and mild umami taste...and not as expensive as many others. I'm sold. I didn't give this a 5 star rating because I'm not a big fan of the pouch container. It is probably better for keeping in freshness and keeping out air, but I still like the tins better.

Aiya America vs Midori Spring
Aiya America vs Midori Spring: Side By Side ComparisonAiya America Aiya America Ceremonial Matcha Green Tea Usu-cha (100 Gram Bag) Midori Spring Organic Ceremonial Matcha - Emerald Class - Chef's Choice Quality Japanese Matcha Powder 100g Aiya America: Sweet, grassy. Bright green color when made.Midori Spring: Less sweet and less grassy than Aiya America. Slightly bitter (not anywhere near like culinary grade which is astonishingly bitter by comparison). Slightly darker than Aiya America in color when made.No discernible difference in the color of the powders or fineness of grind.I like them both but prefer the Aiya America for its impressive sweetness and intense grassy flavor without even a hint of bitter. Midori Spring is more "robust" but interesting and tasty in its own right.Of course, you may get different results depending on the batch. No tea, not even the finest grade, is exactly the same from batch to batch or year to year. Nor should it be.I drink culinary grade matcha mostly (I am a fan of bitter and do not disparage it as a flavor) but grassy and sweet ceremonial grade matcha -- while ridiculously more expensive -- is a special treat.
