nice rod for the money
nice rod fairly stiff good back bone. used it a couple of times I have paid more for rods that were not as nice as this one I have the spinning rod version it works well with crank baits & spoons . you can really launch heavier baits cork handles are nice & comfortable. I prefer cork handles on my rods anyway but these are nice

Good musky rod for small baits
Good rod for muskie I fished and fished with it and I picked up a stick with it and the bait was hung on it and the rod snapped that stick was 1 lb but I might have briefly stepped on it all around must buy for muskie if you like using small baits

Loose Components!
I received this rod as a gift, it has been my go to fishing since I got it recently have had issues though, the cork handle and reel seat has come unglued, I am looking for a solution to fix it?

Lightweight, sensitive
I like the rod for its sensitivity. Took it out before bass fishing and recently for mangrove snapper and redfish. I did have the rod tip break on a large fish, but Sougayilang was outstanding in getting a replacement to me. So I do appreciate the company for standing behind its product and recommend this rod for inshore fishing.

Poor quality construction
First time out , the reel holder came undone, absolutely nightmare to return so had to repair myself. The reel holder is only fastened to the roof with a bit of weak glue under the cork handles. Not worth the cost for this. Also the attachment piece does not hide the connecting part, leaving a weird black gap section in the blue finish.

It works!
Overall, I must say this is a decent rod for the price. I did give it 3 stars, as it is quite a bit stiffer than I would expect in a medium heavy 7 foot rod. As there’s not enough give in the rod I would make sure that if you’re running braid That you run a decent mono or fluoro leader to help with some shock absorption when fighting big fish. Difficult to cast well due to the stiffness.
