We don’t typically use plastic soda bottles, but I’m setting up a home carbonation system that uses PET bottles for carbonating water or other beverages with CO2 and needed some. PET bottles are supposed to be able to withstand the pressure of carbonation far better than glass bottles (we don’t want any bottle bombs), so I decided to pick some up. (If we really get into doing this, we’ll look into a pricey keg down the road.) But a 2L soda bottle in the grocery store was pushing five bucks! Ridiculous! And I wanted to have at least four of them to go with the four carbonation caps I’d already bought.These bottles not only were very inexpensive, they are already labeled “seltzer water” so we can leave the labels on them once they are empty and use them for carbonating our water and keeping it stored in the fridge. We make it super-fizzy, which requires a lot of pressure, and it’s clear these will be able to hold up to it. They came with so much pressure in the bottles that the tops of the caps were bulging out. When I opened one up, I had seltzer spewing all over the place, so be careful when opening these (slow, slow, slow). But it’s very good to know they can handle the 45-50psi I’ll pressurize them to, and it’s also good to have bottles of store-bought seltzer that isn’t already flat.

It’s bubbly, it’s convenient, most of the time a fair value.I order regular 4 or more bottles at a time because amazon would give an extra 15% off 4 bottle + orders _ when I went to order today I noticed they lowered the discount to 10%. I’m very disappointed that so many subscribe/save discounts have been moved down to 5-10% instead of 15%. Just another way for anazombies to raise prices while disguising it as a discount 🤨It’s a great way to dilute expensive sodas without losing the carbonation _ or add your own syrup or powdered drink mix to this to make your own without buying a soda stream or similar carbonation device.the many times I’ve ordered have all been delivered without leaking & no damage 👍I’d recommend this 2 liter size of carbonated water ☮️

I love seltzer. I like the taste, calorie count and the fact that there is zero salt. Why buy water than includes salt. That defeats the purpose. Although, the amount of salt in carbonated waters is very small and they sometimes can't help it. But these have no salt at all. I also like the amount of carbonation, even after the bottle has been opened. My doctor tells me to drink 64 onces of water a day. Which would mean two of these bottles. These help me drink at least one.

Great product and great taste. Just know that over 2-3 days time, of you dont consume it in one day, you lose the explosive fizz sacrificed to a gentle bubbly. For the great price, this is fine with me. I have successfully subbed carbonated water (healthy choice) for carbonated beer. I can honestly say i like drinking co2 water as well as beer and I never drank for the buzz…taste and fizz was what grabbed me i suppose. Need to quit alcohol? Try this! I mix it with lemonn or lime juice….yum!
