The lenght was spot on and the flat cable feature allowed me to hug the walls and tuck behind wall unit without ceimping the cable. Exactly as advertized and perfect for my job.

Worked to extend the router to another room.

I just needed a good quality ethernet cable that is capable of transferring upto 1GB on my internal network for security video streaming. I figured this one is rated for it so I ordered it. Although the cable is nice thin/flat and of good quality what is more important is the speed which I am not getting it. My old garbage cat5 cable that I took out was showing videos without any lag, where as this one has a good 5 sec lag and that is bad. I haven't been able to figure out where the problem lies but to me it seems simple, old cable had no lag, new does. I give it 4 stars for now.

Works Great

The 1.5 ft. cable length (not available with most other Cat 8s) and its flat design made it perfect for connecting my new router and my Macobook Air, which sit side by side on my small desktop. Since my Mac doesn't have an ethernet port, I used my thunderbolt adapter to make the connection. Worked like a charm without adding cord clutter to the desktop.

This is an old school product for those who still use desktop, etc. and works perfect. I can now bring my granddaughter's desktop anywhere in my house and it doesn't have to sit in any one particular spot. I built her a desktop specifically for gaming and she loves the idea of this cable can help connect to the internet anywhere.
