Great bag,none slip mat is great does a great job,easy to fasten to roof with good strong straps

Was nervous on which one to buy , but so glad we got this one , couldn't attach the side straps where the door is becauce we have a Chrysler grand voyager and it has electric sliding doors but my husband attached them to the rear and the front thefe was enought length on the strap . Had absolutely no issues at all, no noise , no having to tighten straps half way on our trip it was perfect .

This was purchased to take our 5 grandchildren on holiday. We have a 7 seater but needed more space for their 5 backpacks plus toys for the younger ones. It met expectations the reason I gave it 4 stars was not for the product but because of our roof rails they are solid as new types tend to be. It was easy to install across the roof bars and could securely fasten on these. IF our car had the older rails it would have securely fastened on the sides also. We improvised and fed the straps through the doors and secured round the grab handles inside though I am NOT recommending this. It did its job our journey was 170 miles and it did rain on our way there, but everything was dry on our arrival. We placed a ply wood sheet in the bottom which we sanded the corners as we have a glass panoramic sunroof and my hubby felt this would give extra support. I would recommend the you pack this bag evenly over the surface area and take time in doing this. We managed to get 6 large bags for life supermarket shoppers in which were mainly clothing and iPads and chargers. Plus 2 more with nappies etc needed for a 18 month old and still had space, which left room for all the toys etc bought on our holiday. There was a bit of wind noise from the straps, but space for space this fit more in than the rigid top box we used to have and was a quarter of the price. For occasional used such as holidays this is well worth having as when not in use it fold flat . The photos show both our cars solid rail and my daughter car open rail if you have this type of rail the roof bag will fit as instructions

Very disappointed. Only the second time we have used it and on the way home from a family holiday to Cornwall it all split and the cases were hanging out of the front of the bag. As shown in the photos the material had all come away from the main zip and tore open across the front of the bag. Couldn’t do anything to close it back up. Made the trip a nightmare. Now in the bin and having to replace it.

More than happy with the product

The roof bag itself is robust, appears highly waterproof and is large enough to hold a significant amount of camping gear. However, it doesn't fit on a car without roof rails/roof rack (well, not on a VW Golf at any rate) as it states. We had to lash it down with bungees and hope!

My son used this recently when he went camping and found it a great piece of kit when he can store easily.
