Everyday Carry Solved!
So...sadly, I lost my pocketknife I've had for probably 25 or so years. It was a well known brand that your grandpa likely carried. I tried to replace it with the same brand and similar model, but the quality had badly suffered, and I returned it. Then I began a local search with little luck....then an online search that included many leading brands like SOG, Benchmade, Boker, and many others. I like a small knife for my actual pocket. Shorts, jeans or slacks. Nothing with 2-3" blades and bulky bodies. What am I using it for? Opening boxes, cutting zip ties, hay bales and the like. This little Everyday Carry is superb! It is razor sharp right out of the box. The blade is sturdy against the body...no play at all. Rugged construction, and the open assist is really nice...very functional. I am going to take off the pocket clip because I want an actual pocketknife, but that will be easy enough. For the money...I don't think you will find a better small size actual pocketknife. Quality seems very very good. Like a little tank.

Love this knife!
It is so handy. It was smaller than I thought it was going to be, but it’s really a perfect size for someone like me who has small hands.

Tiny but mighty ...
Perfect tool for opening boxes or other items that need to be opened on a daily basis like the big plastic envelopes from amazon for one. This is a well made tiny every day carry for light tasks, your not taking on zombies with this one, unless your opening packages of beef from Costco lol .. A well made little tool that is not going to be bulky in your pocket. Nice edge !

Fantastic little knife for the money
The media could not be loaded. I went with the Squid Compact Assist. I've been looking for a small EDC knife for a long time and just couldn't find one I truly loved. They were either too small, too big, no assisted opening, or just didn't fit right in my hand. I think this is it. It's all metal and feels very well-made and robust. Nice crisp assisted opening. Feels good in the hand for a knife that is under 3" closed. For a $30 price point I just don't see how you can go wrong. The locking mechanism can be operated with one hand and the knife is super small which is very rare. It's not super tiny where it can get lost in your pocket but not too big where it becomes a burden. CRKT makes great knives and tools for the money and this is no exception to that statement.

Nice little knife
Perfect little knife to carry around! I forget it’s even on me most of the time. Comes with a nice sharp edge. Seems really well built as well. I know CRKT isn’t top of the line stuff, but for someone who’s looking for a nice EDC knife, pick this up. You’ll be happy with it. Personally love the looks of it as well.
