So good, I have ordered a second one!
Have been using this everyday since it has been delivered - mainly for getting my daily water intake at home, or taking it with me to work/gym. I opted for the larger 1L bottle to be on the safe side. For the time I've used it, its been great. The Ocean Bottle keeps my drinks cold during the day, and my hot drinks nice and warm when out and about. I have not tested the temperature over longer periods of time (i.e +4 hours), so cannot comment on paramount longevity of the drink remaining at the desired temp - but from there description, they are not trying to compete with a proper thermo bottle. So it all depends on your needs if this suits what you want. In fact the website itself advises 'The lid is deliberately not insulated, to avoid drinks staying too hot for too long (you do actually want to drink that coffee, after all) and to keep the bottle lightweight.'One of the main reasons I purchased this was to be able to give it a really good clean at the end of each day. You can split the bottle from the top third, and easily get a large cleaning tool inside. I have not tried this in a dishwasher, and probably wont as it's easy enough to clean in the sink. If you really want to scrub every nook and cranny, you can also remove the inner seals inside the lid and top portion, then place back in when dry.Really happy with this purchase, so much that I have just ordered the 500ml version, mainly because the larger one does not fit in my car holder (not a fault of the product, each car varies). So I can then have different sizes for shorter trips when needed.

Looks great so far
Just received the bottle so it's still early to review it.Design looks fantastic, I love how versatile it is and the 2 top opening so I can use it for water or coffee. It does look premium, the logo is etched and the finish is of very good quality.I always hated these kind of bottles because they always made water taste of metal, this one doesn't seem to have this problem, it does a faint plastic taste but that should fade out with use and a few washes, definitely not as bothersome as a metallic taste.Don't expect it to keep your drink cold or hot for long, due to the design the plastic part is not insulated so there will be thermal exchange, definitely better than just a plastic bottle but won't be as good as a fully insulated bottle, I'm fine with this and because of the design choice it's easy to put ice cubes in the bottle to have chilled water through the day.The only con I can think of is the £40 price tag, it is a bit of a luxury item, but the quality definitely shows. You also get 10year warranty so it's kind of like Apple where they charge you double because the price includes a possible replacement in case something goes wrong.Considering that I was buying water at £2 at the airport each time I was flying somewhere it should pay for itself in the long run, with the added advantage of keeping my drinks chilled.PS: you also get an app which tells you where you can refill it, which can be quite useful if you find yourself traveling

Nice product
This is a nice product. It is expensive for what it is however it feels like I am doing something for the environment. It does keep the water hot or cold for a while as advertised. The app and scanning the bottle is over complicated, I gave up with it. I would recommend it but feel it is over priced.

Dishwasher friendly
I love this bottle, I hate hand washing my water bottles as I feel there is always a feel of it still not being clean after, with this I can pop it in the dishwasher & go about my day. The fact it is eco friendly is an added bonus. Definitely worth the money spent

Okay but can't get rid of the smell
It's an expensive bottle. The slim 500ml size fits in most cup holders and is easy to fit into backpack bottle holders. It's dishwasher-safe which is pretty unique and ultimately the reason I bought it. It's also perfectly spill-proof. However, I had a couple of problems with it. One, there is a plastic smell/flavour which makes water taste unpleasant. Even after several washes in both the dishwasher and by hand, it's still there. Two, the rubber seals inside the cap tend to come out and are finicky to replace.

Worth it
Was pricey for a flask bottle but it’s way better quality than other ones I’ve had. You can’t compare it to the cheap ones and it’s perfect size as well fits perfect in my backpack.

Attractive bottle with a gimmick and great customer service
It's a bottle, it's quite self explanatory really. But where it really shines is the design. It splits open from the top in two parts, allowing you to use the lid as a cup but the main benefit of this is that it allows for easy cleaning as the entire bottle is opened up for you rather than trying to manoeuvre a brush through the tiny drinking spout. The visual design of the bottle is stellar and it feels even better to hold and drink from. One downside is that the carry tag is not as secure as one would think. If the lid is removed then the carry tag can just slip off, I understand why it's like that, it was just unexpected. One feature/gimmick/unique selling point is the NFC tag on the bottom as it allows you access to the ocean bottle app as well as the warranty. The app allows you to see nearby spots where you can get free refills for your bottle - whether from free public drinking fountains to coffee shops, all recorded by fellow ocean bottle users. You can also record your refills which supposedly aids the collection of 5 bottles per refill. How this works I have no idea but it offers a nice incentive to open the app and to refill your bottle.I did have an issue where I was unable to scan my NFC tag to gain access to the app. I contacted customer service via email and they were very dedicated to helping me with it as we spent the next couple of days in constant communication figuring it out and we have managed to get the tag working, despite me purchasing this from Amazon rather than directly through their website (which offers discounts and exclusive colours).Overall this is a bottle to get for the long term with its stellar customer support and ecological goal. Albeit a bit pricey for what it is.
