Italeri or Airfix?
I haven't yet built this model but I have this comment to make. At the moment, it is quite a bit cheaper than the Airfix version. And as I bought both the Airfix and Italeri Apache's to compare them imagine my surprise when I found that the plastic parts are absolutely identical. The only difference (apart from the instruction leaflets) is the number of options in terms of the decals - Airfix has more. One thing I particularly noted with AIrfix and obviously found later with the Italeri model is that neither have crew. I emailed Airfix and they sent me two figures for crew. Unfortunately it looks as though they won't fit without major surgery but I'll wait until I've actually built the model to give a final verdict on that. One further comment I have on the Italeri model is that the instructions list their own range of paints for painting the model. I haven't yet seen anywhere that stocks these paints or a conversion chart. If you go on to the Revell website, you can view their 1:48 scale version's instructions which gives the Revell paints required (they are my preference anyway).
