BirkenstockMen's Milano Slingback Sandals

The Birkenstock Milano looks amazing in black. The backstraps also allow me to maintain a reasonable pace while maintaining extraordinary comfort. They aren't the most durable, especially for a 215lb active person. Nonetheless, these sandals maintain an irreplaceable position in my summer wardrobe and offer three seasons of use before needing repair. The sizing comps on the product page can be trusted.

I've worn Birkenstock products for 25 years, always the same quality and fit. They are dependable in those respects, comfortable and very supportive, they fit my feet fine.

Great sandals.

Same sandals I've been buying, one pair after another, for years, but I can't get comfortable in these! It's not the fit - they fit the same as always. I think it's the leather - it's not as pliable as my old shoes, maybe not as good a quality, and the first day I had to stand in them a long time, my feet were in total pain by the end of the day. One of the guys who works with me said he had a similar experience getting a new pair of his same old Birkenstock's. Has the company started cutting corners? Anybody else out there with a similar experience.

Well the order was to large for me so I need a 42 not a 44

Ho letto le diverse recensioni riguardo la scelta nella misura della taglia. Premetto che forse ho un piede "tedesco" visto che mi è andata bene la taglia 44 (normalmente porto 44 o 45, seconda delle marche e dei modelli...).A miofavore debbo dire che uso da qualche anno il modello Arizona (cibatte classiche) e lì ho constatato che il 44 faceva per me, confermato da questo modello Milano.Taglie: Grandi? nel mio caso no; hanno un incavo abbastanza profondo nel plantare e il piede ci "sprofonda bene", forse questo è quello che dicono alcuni, che le trovano "grandi"...Alla fine consiglio di prendere il vostro numero di taglia (mezzo numero in meno al max) ma anche qui ogni piede è unico....Materiali: secondo me hanno mantenuti i loro standard, visto il confronto con le Arizona di 4 anni fa che porto in estate (in casa).Ah, queste le ho comprate per usarle all'esterno.Portabilità. Vanno vissute per qualche gg e più; debbono adattarsi al piede sia il plantare che le parti in cuoio superiori che "legano" il piede. All'inizio sembrano strette , poi cedono, si ammollano e il trovo il confort molto ma molto buona. La presunta rigidità della suola per me è un plus (ma non è così eccessiva; anzi utile riseptto altri sandali "morbili" che porto" ma - ovviamente - tutto questo è soggettivo, lo comprendo.Io le ricomprerei ma spero invece che durino molto ma molto a lungo....

Nach nur zwei Wochen, hat sich bei dem Schuh die Sohle gelöst und der Verkäufer weigert sich, eine Rücksendung zu akzeptieren.

The sandals are well made and are of good quality but they just didn’t work for me. They are pretty hard with close to no padding for the feet. In addition the have ridges that rise up and hurt my feet. The sizing also seemed a bit on the smaller side.Lastly returning seems to be really inconvenient as there was no return label provided and the seller expects the customer to cover the return shipping and expects it to be in state ready for resale. This is really not possible as you feel the pain once you try it out and walk a bit.I might stick with the product given the inconvenience (don’t want to spend more to send it back and then get into discussion on condition etc.), but felt it is necessary to warn others about the risk. Expected better return policy for such expensive sandals.

Habe diese Birkenstock jetzt schon ein paar Monate. Leider bekomme ich bei jedem Tragen auf beiden Füßen Blasen. Die bekomme ich ausschließlich von diesen Schuhen. Das Fußbett ist meiner Meinung nach nicht bequem. Trotzdem 2 Sterne, weil die Verarbeitungsqualität gut ist.
