Fairly easy to assemble. Not too large but large enough. Having 2 separate chambers which rotate separately is the way to go. While one side was mid way composting, I could leave it to continue working the soil and start new on the other side. I starting adding material I had readily available in early August (grass clippings, kitchen waste - vegetable peels, molded bread, overripe fruit, cow manure, tiny sticks from my yard, spent mushroom substrate, straw, leaves, etc.) and by mid September had my 1st small bucket of really nice looking soil. I currently use one side as I've discussed, and the other side for spent substrate. I grow a few kinds of gourmet mushrooms so I have spent sawdust and grain spawn to get rid of. I plan to use one side of the tumbler to toss and dry this so I can reuse some of it and scatter some throughout my flowerbeds to see if it will produce mushrooms in the future. For me, this has been money we'll spent.

After a year of use the product looks so sturdy. Rotates well even with the bin full. The yellow green slides are not as sturdy like the black ones. Sometimes during spinning the come out unable to hold the weight. But that can be avoided. Overall a very good reliable product.

I'm loving my compost bin.Easily put together, spins easily, doesn't take up much room, can't wait to use the first batch.The green lid opens easily to add whatever you need to your compost.I used a compost starter with mine and the bin doesn't seem to smell much, which I love, it performs just as its supposed to. The quality is perfect, the stability and appearance are great!Definitely recommend I'm planning to purchase another!

The product fell apart after just a few days of usage. I ended up with a mess to clean up in the garden and then had to dismantle it, hose it down, dry it off, and try to figure out how to fit it all back in the shipping box to return it. Cleaning up all the dirt,grass clipping and shredded leaves in the hot sun did not make me a happy gardener!

This product was easy to assemble (15 minutes or so) if you’re used to assembling things. I used a rubber mallet to really click it together at the end and that saved my finger tips! Looking forward to getting the compost going. Will update review if needed.

A little tricky to assemble, but once I got it set up, it has worked great! Can’t wait to get our first batch of compost out of it!

Disappointed that tumbler falls apart and the composting contents falls out while turning. Nice design concept except, the connecting joints should have been designed for screws to hold the heavy composting content. No difficulty assembling. Nice size for backyard use. The holes are perfect for ventilation.We will fix the separating connections of our composter.Manufacture, please fix the durability of this product!

I found it challenging to assemble by myself, luckily my son figured it out and he had it together in not much time. I am enjoying making my own compost and seeing the progress of it. I chose this unit for price and the fact that it has two chambers which is very convenient. I would recommend this product, but would warn people to not get too frustrated about assembly, once you get the hang of one side, the other is easy.
