Probably best to break the fastener free first then use these to spin it off.

Being that I needed an extra long socket wrench to reach hardware on the front of my 1997 Toyota Rav4the extra long wrench fits in tight spaces and give me the reach I needed to remove hardware.

I wish I could recommend these. I really wanted to like them. They'd be a great value if they lived up to their promise. Sadly they do not.I will say that Duratech was very helpful when I contacted them about the first set I received. I asked them if the inserts should be as loose as they were or if I just got a bad set, and they quickly shipped another set.While it was very slightly better - the inserts just do not have a positive enough engagement. They fall out all the time, making the tool nearly unusable in anything but the smaller sizes and with lightweight fasteners.If they could improve the insert attachment point, this could be a nice product and a great value. As it is, it wasn't worth even the low price I paid.Also, the ratcheting mechanism in the larger wrench broke after fewer than half a dozen uses - under low torque conditions.So, all in all, a pretty bad experience with these unfortunately.
