DID NOT FIT TH-D 74 AS ADVERTISED... CLOSE BUT COULD NOT CLOSE CLIP.
PRODUCT DOES NOT FIT KENWOOD TH-D 74. LOOKS IDENTICAL TO ORIGINAL BUT CLIP DOES NOT CLOSE.

Works great with my TH-D75A.
I have fully discharged one of these batteries at least 8 times now and it appears to last as long as my Kenwood factory batteries in my D75. Installation onto the radio and the retention feels pretty much exactly the same as my OEM batteries and I have never had the battery come off without me intentionally taking it off. I'm very happy so far and will probably buy another set since these cost so much less.I wish the batteries could be charged directly via USB-C while off the radio, or a small DC charger existed for off-the-radio charging of spares.

NOPE!
Sadly, like many others, this battery simply does not fit my TH-D74a. The latch clip on the bottom of the radio will not seat correctly. Sent back for refund.

Catch does not hold battery to radio
Bought the 2-pack. Received last night. Neither battery will stay latched. Both pop-off at the slightest touch. Returning.

Battery is bulging and went bed
Battery after 3 charges went bad. Looks like the cells puffed up and the case is bulging

Bad battery
These battery’s fit the d75 perfectly. However there’s an inherent issue with these swelling prematurely. One of them lasted 5 charges before swelling to the point of failure. The other works after 15 charges but only lasts about 2-3 hours.
