Why on earth do you put "for my lover" on the back of a painting by numbers box - I got this for my father who has some hand tremors and I wanted him to practice his hand stillness doing something he might enjoy. He may be many things but my lover is not one of them !!Despite this, the actual kit is quite nice with good quality canvas, useful tools and the paints you will need. I do quite like it and it is good value but I will either cover up the message or hope he sees the funny side. As a set to help an older person maintain skills and do something that is creative, this is pretty good.

This is a very cheap and nasty product. Firstly, I couldn’t get the creases out of the canvas as it was so tightly packed in a small cardboard box. Secondly, the paint is not acrylic and is more like standard poster paint you’d get in a primary school. The paint was too thin to cover the numbers and the dark colours were very patchy. Definitely don’t waste your money.
