W & N Acrylic Gesso
Have used much cheaper grounds and even emulsion paint, but I keep coming back to this product simply because I consider it to be the best for all sorts of supports and would not hesitate to recommend it to budding artists - buy the best you can afford and this is the best!!

New to me
Never used gesso before and it surprised me... this formula was thinner than expected and it was a grainy texture which I assume in normal but will use anyway as if all else fails it has great texture giving properties.

This is the best I've found.
Tub looks a different shape to one pictured but cannot complain.I use this on board and wood surfaces, its great to have mid tones to paint on.Has a great bite/tooth.

A very good dense white primer, only ne or two coats needed to give a lovely paintingsurface. Have used before a nd will again. The price was good and delivery very swift.

De los mejores gessos acrílicos que he probado. El precio se deja notar en la calidad. Tiene buen mordiente que puedes reducir si te parece excesivo pasándole una lija. Yo lo uso para pintar sobre madera y cubre de sobra y da seguridad de calidad y durabilidad.

Gesso bringt die Malerei nach vorne, auch wenn er im Hintergrund versteckt bleibt.
die Qualität ist sehr gut. 445ml hat für ca. 4m² Leinwand/Baumwolle gereicht, also zwei mal geschtrichen und habe sehr gute Deckung. Mehr ist nicht nötig, aber kann man nochmal streichen. Für die Übungsmalerei kann man die billigen Produkten nutzen. Tipp: Ich habe unterschidliche Leinwände von "gut- bis sehr gute Qualität" gekauft. Ohne Gesso verliert man die Grundirung. Mit Gesso schmiert die Farbe wie Butter auf den Leinwand und sorgt für die beste Qualität (in Betracht dass die Farben auch gut sind). viele Freude.
