OWATROL1 Litre Tex-Trol Clear Wood Finish

Happy with this item. No issues at all.

Not sure of effectiveness yet, but it certainly gives the wood a good lustre. Instructions are to not apply if rain is expected in the next 48 hours. I live on the west coast of Scotland, so following instructions would probably make this impossible to apply!!!

This oil is a really good buy, easy to apply, and makes raw fence wood look really great, and excellent protection., one tinDoes not go very far, I needed two tins to do three large fence panels.

Brilliant and easy to apply. Gives a lovely finish.

You get what you pay for, brought out the natural grain of the wood and gives protection from the weather.

I missed this - my fault - ended up getting from another supplier ...... duuuh :)This is superb. My Kwila had been outside in UK weather 365 days a year for seven years (!). Time to sort it I thought ....Sanded down the top surfaces, and cleaned it with lightly soapy water and left it in the Sun for 3 days. I then figured that after seven years it would take more than usual, so I applied three coats not two. The wood sucked it in like water into a sand hole in a desert .... probably sighing with relief rofl.Do make sure you follow the instructions on the tin to the letter - especially not leaving it too long between coats ..... you are supposed to apply the next coat before the former one is totally dry. Preparation is definitely the key, do take time to sand down surfaces, finishing with a fine grade sandpaper on the last rub over.The guideline for quantity to area is pretty well on the nail, you can trust the recommended calculation when working out how much to buy V the area to be treated. Make sure you treat yourself to a new - quality - brush, it makes no sense doing this with a grubby old brush ..... give the brush a thorough soapy wash with washing up liquid after use, and immerse the bristles in a soapy solution overnight. Brush stays good as new.Excellent product, if it can revitalise my seven year old weather beaten table, it will do an even better job with a new table treated from get go. Run don't walk to get some, well, well, worth the price.
