Good heater for large room

Great value priced heater. And great service from company. Initial purchase arrived damaged as somewhere on its journey it looked like the box was dropped so there was damage to one of the fins. Requested return/refund and subsequently returned item and refund received. As we felt yhe heater was indeed a good product replacement purchase made and delighted no issues with this.Overall would recommend this heater and highly pleased with company.

This was bought as a Christmas present for my husbands parents. However when he opened the box to set it up for them, he found there was 2 problems, 1) a nut that secures the wheels was missing, so a rummage in the shed to find another one was required, and 2) 3 of the fins were bent. He tested the heater and was satisfied that it didn't seem to impair it's use. The heater gives out a good amount of heat which is why he decided to let them keep it rather than have the hassle of sending it back, hence only 4 stars instead of 5

I chose this radiator because the description is “Colour: White” but the heater delivered to me is grey. I assembled it anyway, (which needed my own spanner, not a big problem) and turned it on, but it won’t stay turned on for more than 10 minutes before it turns itself off again and the power indicator lights on the heater go out (see photo).A big problem is that the cable is quite short and is labelled: “Warning: Do Not Use With An Extension Lead”. As my house was built in 1960 with hardly any power points, and the few power points that I do have are situated behind furniture, almost EVERY electrical appliance in my house runs off a 6-gang surge-protected extension lead. A heater that cannot be used with an extension lead is no use to me because its cable won’t reach the mains wall socket behind the furniture.I am therefore returning this.

A very easy to set up and use heater. These radiators heat rooms to a comfortable temperature.

The heater is decent enough but the packaging is dreadful. Nothing to stop the heater banging about inside the box so of course it was bent and battered.Several fins were bent out of shape. The cover over the electrical connections had come loose and you could see the electrical connections.I don't much care about looks so I was able to reattach the cover over the electrical connections and reattach the beading that is supposed to keep it in place. The fins are still bent but I can live with that.It doesn't seem to electrocute me when I touch it so I guess it will do. I really can't be bothered to send it back.UPDATE: I have decided to return this as it should never have been delivered in this state.I would buy it again if thee packaging was improved so that it was protected whilst in transit.

Heats up rooms with closed doors and windows in this -3 degrees celcius weather in no time at all life saver!
