Kawaii!: Japan's Culture of Cute

Not what I thought it would be to be honest. My dissertation teacher suggested this (I don't know why), I was expecting more, in depth text. What you get are a lot of pictures. Didn't actually read through this tbh, since it included a lot of information that I already knew. But I gave it to my 10 y.o niece who absolutely loves it, she took it to school to show her friends. Great for those who have just discovered the wonders of Japan.

I got this book as a present for a fan of Japanese culture.It looks like a nice, sleek book, nice photography and well designed, however it's not really my thing so I can only review this in terms of quality and delivery.It was reviewed well by the person who I got it for, and I got it because it was reviewed well in the press so I guess we win all round!

Very interesting introduction to the culture of kawaii, and all the different forms of kawaii. The interviews are also very well developed and it is visually appealing.

Nicely produced book full of great photos of Japanese fashion, costumes, toys and all sorts of other things you'd not think were "cute".

Bought this for my kawaii obsessed friend and she loves it!

This book is amazing. I love it. The book contains almost all of the important people and places in Harajuku. KAWAii!!
