Nice looking product - would have gotten high marks, but the wing nut threads don't match the provided threaded rod.Both threads are good and will receive different threaded parts - they just don't match each other and are incompatible!Only option was return (no option to contact) - which didn't work for me because of time constraints. So, the wing nuts were replaced at the local hardware store because I needed the part & did not want to waste my time with waiting for a return - but it still wasted some time.

Minor upgrade done when changing battery . 2011 outback. It works

The mount bar is about 1 inch to short and the rods are not compatible with the OEM battery tray. To make it work I would have to drill holes in the battery tray, and replace the mount bar with a longer piece of metal, defeating the purpose of buying the battery hold down.I bought this item because Amazon says it's compatible with my vehicle.Although the kit does looks good in the picture it does not fit.I'm not going to blame the seller for the product not fitting, this is more of an amazon compatibility check issue.

Amazon fitment guide directed me to this item that would fit my 2001 Honda CRV. The battery hold down bar was way to long for the small battery that the CRV uses, I was unable to make it fit. Overall quality of the part was good, I was just disappointed I was unable to use it for its intended purpose.

Per Amazon this fits my 2021 off road Tacoma, Nope it does not at least with the OEM or a lead acid battery. First off the top bar is to wide so it does not fit between the water covers on top of the battery. Second the hook on the cabin side of the battery is way to long the Toyota OEM is a set length of about 6" the one in this kit does not have enough threads in able for you to tighten it down and even if you could you would need to cut off the top 3-4 inches of the rod or it would go through your hood.
