Bought this for Halloween to add some colour to our decorations and was impressed with the quality. Easy to set up and got cool dad points for being able to change the colour from my phone.

Really good light, no white but the "pulse to music" is a great novelty feature.The light is bright enough for my average sized gardenCable is very short (about 1m) and set up could be tricky if you are used to changing router settings etc

You will very likely have to cut and join the pretty short prewired cable it comes with, but that's not exactly a big job.Great light, Alexa integration, what more could you ask for.

This item comes in a nicely branded box and is a good bit smaller than I'd expected a Floodlight to be, at only 15.5 cm wide much of which is casing (the dimensions provided above are for the box not the item!). Not much to it as you'd expect - the only difference being the antenna ruining the aesthetics of it. Since it's meant to sit on the ground rather than being fixed on a wall, a flexible antenna might have been nicer. It's mains operated and has around 1m of flex so you'll obviously need a power source near where you want to place it. It's waterproof - rated IP66 which means "Enclosure - IP rated as "dust tight" and protected against heavy seas or powerful jets of water." so should easily withstand the most our British weather can throw at it.My problems began from the off. There's NO instruction sheet or manual etc, only a card with a QR code to download one. Except I didn't want to download it that way but rather wanted to do so on the PC. So that option was swiftly ruled out as there was no direct link provided and nothing to say what it was called. Even going to their website didn't help much as again, there was no obvious link - I only found it quite by chance long after I'd already got the App downloaded.I initially used a Fufen android tablet to get the App installed but after it installed, it wouldn't open. I tried everything, changed every setting I could, but nothing worked. Really frustrating as most other apps have worked fine on the tablet. So I switched to my phone and tried again with better luck although again, it took a couple of tries. This time, however, it kept saying the connection had timed out, thus failing on connecting to the light. The little bit of help provided to solve such a problem didn't work for me. I uninstalled, reinstalled, removed caches everywhere, rebooted, etc, all to no avail.So I've given up on it. Too much hassle just for a floodlight. Unfortunately if you can't get it connected to your WiFi for whatever reason, you'll end up with a RED floodlight as that's the colour it starts off at before you get it connected - why was it not made to be white so that if you did have issues, you could at least use it as a static light.I was nearly going to knock it down to 1 star for those reasons, but don't feel it's good to give the impression it doesn't work at all, since connection problems aren't really a true indicator of how good the product itself is. Just be aware that if you do have them, you'll probably have to just return it unless you're happy with a red one. At least it's a decent enough company who I'm sure will sort out any such issues easily.

But when I asked my sister about it (first-timer), she finds it frustrating and total rubbish. It does not come with a user manual. The QR code needs to be scanned for you to dl the digital manual, then it will give you gives step-by-step instructions on how to connect your phone to the floodlight.The app does all this job. It doesn't have any buttons or remote control to change the lights, dim them or set the timer. If you're the old-school type who doesn't wanna use Wi-Fi to control it using a device or gadget, or if you're planning to install this in a secluded place where there's no Wi-Fi connection, skip this and find a more straightforward outdoor light.If you're planning to let it sit on the ground, the cable might be a little annoying as it protrudes on the rear. However, the cable is approximately 111cm, so if this is too short for you, then you might as well get an extension cord. In my opinion, it is too short.These floodlights are of good size as it's made from durable steel. The wiring is thick and well-made. It's rated IP 66, which makes it suitable for extreme weather, but I can't attest to it yet as it hasn't rained or snowed that hard.It has pros and cons, but this set is of high quality. It has a considerable angle that can illuminate a huge space in a property/area.Overall, I find it recommendable but needs a bit of improvement.
