I am overall satisfied with this purchase. It is beautiful. However, I will be purchasing some type of sealant for the bottom opening, sadly even after screwed closed a bit of ashes did leak. For the price it is very nice.

I know that a lot of people think that the comfort level of an urn doesn't really matter but it does and not just for the precious remains inside. Sometimes when you’re at a low point in your life and just want the comfort of the golden days when you’ve given and received in return. Just want to hug that box and try to hold onto the hope of that better place existing. The shape of an urn matters a lot more than you’d think just as the elegance and smooth texture this one has. I love that there’s a non slip bottom and the opening is quite secure but what’s important is the inside. This product was very crucial when it came to transferring two individuals to a more suitable space. The inside was very smooth. No cracks or openings to which these beloved individuals could fall through. It was a very special ceremony and couldn’t have happened without such an astounding product.

The photos show what was found on the interior of the urn rattling around. It had broken off from the interior, by the plug hole. So it shows tha the urn is indeed made of some kind of polymer or ceramic and the "blue marble" is only actually an applied painted finish. For a distance or from the pictures it may look like marble, and may be heavy like marble, but it isn't. It is just an applied faux finish just to the outside. The interior is this off-white. So, I guess if you need an urn and can't or don't want to pay those mortuary prices, this is probably something that you could use that would look okay from a distance on a shelf or something. I would think though, that for a really close loved one, you might want to get something a little better if you can afford it.
