Overall Good Purchase
Metal support sometimes slips out which can be annoying, not a daily occurrence though…Does provide good pain relief and worth the investment

Bar not removable
I have weak wrists and often sprain one or the other, so bought a pair of these to go in our medicine chest so that I could strap them up at the first twinge of pain. They appear lighter than some I've used from the hospital, but they are just as serviceable. I have worn these overnight to try the feel of them and when using the computer, and they are really good value. The elasticity is good, padding is quite thick and comfortable, with strong hook and loop fastening. Please be aware, though, the metal bar inside is NOT REMOVABLE for when you want to wash the straps. I have deducted one star for this, as sometimes I find just the strapping would be good enough on my wrist, depending on the severity of injury of course, without the bar inside. Although you could undo a bit of the stitching by the thumb if you really wanted to remove it at any time.
