Leaf ShaveThe Leaf Dermaplaner, Rose Gold - All-Metal Facial Razor and Exfoliating Tool for Women

After a year I have not noticed any changes in the dermaplaner. Love that I can use any blades with it, and I finally think i’ve made my investment back. Definitely recommend if you consistently use the plastic ones. One thing is, you just have to be a little more careful or you will scratch your face depending on how sharp the blades you use are.

I'm torn on this. I still use it often as my primary facial razor, but disappointed with how quickly it discolored (I got the rose gold color). For the price point, this should last a long time when kept well. I also bought the rose gold shaver and it hasn't discolored at all, so I don't really understand what is happening. It almost takes too much work to keep it clean and sanitized to make it worth it. I wouldn't re-order it, but it's not bad. This probably isn't a helpful review, lol.

This is great quality and I highly recommend watching videos from the brand before attempting to use it or load the razors.

Love this razor! So easy to install the blade, the blade is definitely sharp (be careful) but let me tell you, my face is so SMOOTH! My make-up sits better on my skin, my skin care absorbs better and all my little peach fuzz and PCOS facial hair are so much more manageable!

This thing is a NIGHTMARE. I have used throwaways (cheap to higher end), other straight razors, Jill, some other ones I can't remember right now, real dermaplaning with my esthetician. And THIS. Wow. I felt like a kid in the 50s using their dad's single blade razor at the ripe old age of seven and had to leave my house with pieces of toilet paper all over my face. Thankfully as an adult that takes great care of my skin, it only took a night or two of cicabio to fix up these crazy papercut looking slices it left all over my face.I'm not look to replace a real dermaplaning session from a professional, but I like the hair removal and mild dead skin removal these at home razors provide. Makeup goes on smoother and skin care penetrates your skin better. But I shouldn't have to be cutting open my own skin to get those benefits. I am flabbergasted by this entire product. I would rather use Jill again and I hated those. The best ones I've found are sadly throwaways, but they gave way better and way less dangerous blades/blade guards. And again, I just want to stress that this is not the first "big kid" single blade dermaplaner I've used.

I bought this because I am sick of throwing plastic into landfills. The quality, materials and weight of the Leaf Deplaner are superb, and I am amazed by the “shave” I get. With my previous deplaner I felt like I had to go over my face multiple time before all the peach fuzz was gone, especially around my chin area, and I would have to do touch ups every few days. With Leaf I go over my face once and then dont need to do it again for about 2 weeks! AND (I can recycle the metal blades!
