Blue Laser
I've always wanted a laser capable of burning things bc I'm an adult child. Well, I've found it!! A couple of seconds on cardboard and you've got smoke!!! How awesome 😎The kit comes with filters for cool laser show effects. It also comes with "goggles" and I removed a star due to those goggles. They are awful. They have sharp edges, have scratches on the lenses, and I don't think they'd be worthy of being sold at a dollar store. The legs were crooked and barely fit.Proper eye protection is a MUST when playing with lasers. There is no way to tell if the goggles provided are effective against the wavelength specified on the laser. So, to ensure my safety, I confirmed the wavelength and purchased a set of legit goggles certified to filter the wavelength of the laser. This thing is bright and powerful and if they would include a legit set of goggles, this would be a perfect kit. (:

Yinnrent is a ripoff
I sent this seller a video of their product not working and they refuse to honor any warranty, amazon also does not do anything to enforce warranty support, I even purchased a protection plan and cannot get any support due to it being within warranty window

amazingly bright laser
This is not a toy for sure. I am impressed by the power of this beam. I highly recommend using the provided safety glasses if using indoors. It comes in a nice little case with several light diffusers that screw into the front of the device. I had to charge the batteries when the device arrived, not a surprise. The instructions are poorly translated to English and basically say:- do not point it at living things... it can burn them- do not use near flammable material, it can start it on fire- do not use for more than 2 minutes at a time, and give at least 1 minute of cooldown time between uses- do not attempt to disassemble it- do not let children use it- do not shine directly into the eyes (I would add that you should be careful with looking at the reflected light as well)- exercise caution when using this device since it can result in injury, damage to property and such.- do not drop it- protect it from dust- make sure you put the batteries in correctly (polarity)- is uses batteries of the type 16340 (rechargables)It is definitely NOT waterproof in case you are wondering. The instructions also have a photo at the bottom of something that is not this light... no idea why that is there. When installing the batteries, unscrew the end of the light with the switch. The device unscrews in multiple places, but you should avoid doing that.I accidentally pointed it on my hand for a second and I can definitely confirm it will burn skin.

THE BEST AND COOLEST THING I'VE EVER GOTTEN
Growing up, I didn't think that lasers like this were legal at all in the US. When I found this I was skeptical it would have any more power than a simple laser pointer, even if it's beefy and has a case, but I was without a doubt very excited anyways. This thing did not disappoint. It can light matches, fuses and melt balloons. It reaches further than anything I've seen with my own eyes, and it includes the coolest set of lenses I've ever seen. The one complaint I have about it is the eye-pro. It's not very good, but it's better than nothing, I'm currently in the process of finding something else however. I would recommend this to anyone, as long as they take the right safety precautions.

Interesting kit
I got this more as a novelty item as it is a Class IIIA laser. Now that I own it I can see practical uses for this as it is a very powerful, bright laser. I could see this being used as a signaling device although I have no particular need and not sure it would be practical to use as a flashlight. Of course you could also use this in a lab situation wherever a somewhat powerful laser is needed. Output is listed as between 1000mW and 5000mW with a 450nm wavelength (blue light) at an operating voltage of DC 7.4V using two 16340 batteries. This has a working time of 2 minutes then must be shut down for 1 minute and repeat. Not really practical for much outside of an experimental lab.

Blue Light Special
I don't know how to classify this product. It can be called an adult toy (not THAT kind of adult toy), because it definitely is not meant for children. It is not a flashlight nor a presentation laser pointer. It may even be considered a weapon since it can possibly cause temporary (maybe even permanent) blindness. The product description described it as "a good rescue signal when you are in danger in the field". I'll stick to that product classification.
