Lipstains GoldPlum

This is the first time I have tried Lipstains Gold Lipsticks and I am definitely going to try some other colours. I have bought the Gold Rose and it is a lovely Rose colour as you would expect - not too dark yet not pale. It goes on very smoothly and gives a beautiful glow to my lips. It lasts brilliantly - no need to re-apply every couple of hours. Doesn't come off on glasses and cups either. I would definitely recommend. Arrived quickly - next day and is a great price for an excellent lipstick!

I chose silver apricot because it is between pink and orange. The lipstick comes in perfect shade as I hope for. The colour on my lips was the same as the tube was. However after a certain time it changed into fuchsia which some customer also review that it did also happen to them. So I think no matter what colour you choose is not important, they all come out into fuchsia. It doesn't seem keep my lip moist all the time, the application will be dried up after one or two hours and the colour stained the lip and since there is no more oil on the lip, the colour will not leave on the cup. I can't remove the colour just by whipping off with tissue but using makeup oil instead. If you are looking for a long stay of lip colour, it is not bad to have a try.

I ordered this in Tulip. It's a little brighter than in the image - more of a intense red, but it looks so good on. It's actually much nicer than I thought it would be and better than the "Red" colour (which I have also).The colour lasts forever on me and takes quite a number of hours to wear off (even after eating and drinking).Whilst it does moisturise my lips on initial application I find that after a number of hours my lips feel slightly dry but not adversely.I'm happy with my purchase, however, I'm not sure if the colour in the swatch above is entirely accurate. Luckily, on this occasion I was very happy with the colour.If I could give this 4.5 stars I would, as I feel the colour swatches in the examples above might be slightly misleading. However as I'm happy with the product I will give it a 5.0

The silver rose is my favourite colour. This is my sixth purchase the first two were Rose which my Chemist stocked years ago. I found a little too bright for my pale skin/colouring but silver rose is the best for me I use it for work every day. Lasts well and is not thick like some normal lipsticks. I would not buy anything else. I have tried other makes but are not the same. This is the best brand. Highly recommended.

Read the reviews, took a chance, staying power is excellent and doesn't dry your lips at all like most long lasting lipstains do.... but.... as per other comments.. the colour changes, I got the brown one (sorry not got it with me can't remember correct colour) and that is the colour of it but once dry it turns a pinky red. Not my colour choice.. no idea why this is and it really is a shame..

I really wanted a lipstick that would last a few hours. I put this on at 11.00 am and it started to fadeat 15.00. During this time I had many drinks and eat lunch. I can't say if it is kiss proof as there wasno one around for me to kiss! :)great price and nice shades. Will buy again.

I love these lipstains and have used them for years, they last me ages (I wear them under ordinary lipsticks to soften the colour of the stain) so I thought I should get a new one in 'blush' but the colour has changed a lot, it used to be almost a brown shade but it is now very pink, I would call it a raspberry pink, so I've gone back to using my old one. (nb I bought a new 'spice' colour last year and I found that colour had not changed.)

These last for a LONG time on your lips. They also appear to change colour. I usually put it on before bed to give me a nice lip colour in the morning.If I’m wearing it in the morning I might use a lip brush to control how much I put on.My Mum has worn them for years and has themin lots of colours. The colours are quite bold but if you find the right one they look lovely. They always look amazing on her and she never uses a lip brush, just puts it straight on.The same colour can look different on me and my Mum. The packaging is quite old fashioned but they are a good lipstick.
