D Shape Soft Close Toilet Seat, White, Easy Cleaning, Top Fixing Stainless Steel Hinges (42 * 33.5)

Perfect fit for a higher than usual disabled WC - matched the shape exactly. Slightly narrower than normal at 335mm width exactly fitted the seat width, and perfectly matched D shape. Only point to note is that the opening in the seat is rather small causing a disabled user (my wife) a little trouble cleaning up (unable to stand easily!) because the seat rim width is on the generous side. Very good value and quality overall.Will keep as a back-up, replaced it with an alternative seat with a less substantial seat rim width but a larger aperture, and a less solid quick release arrangement whicj I suspect will fail in use.

The seat is of reasonable quality and easy to fit however the fixings and covers seem flimsy to me. I do like the simple way you can disconnect the seat for easy cleaning.

Not the highest quality item, and a bit ergonomically flat when you sit on it. But narrow fit toilet seats are in short supply so I was happy to have eventually find one (32cm wide). Easy enough to fit. Soft close feature works well. Only improvement I would ask for is a better quality of plastic. This material is dull in appearance and not shiny but overall it’s a toilet seat, it does what it needs to.

The seat itself is fine. Smooth soft close action, decent finish, easy to fit. The push button seat removal is useful.But this is the only seat I could find at this size. The manufacturer of my toilet has discontinued the model (Kartell POT221MK - if you're looking for a seat for this toilet, this WILL fit) and doesn't sell any spares, and I couldn't find a replacement anywhere - except this. Took a punt based on the advertised dims, and it's perfect.This seat really solved a big problem for me, hence a chunky 5 stars.

First of all, this is so easy to install. I have absolutely got no life skills, but it took me around five minutes to get it right. All I needed was a screwdriver and I watched a B&Q video on youtube on how to install a toilet seat cover.It's overall a good toilet seat, it does the job, but would I buy it again? Probably not.Apart from the following, it's a reasonable purchase:1. The toilet opening is smaller than normal, i.e. the sides of the toilet seat are quite wide. You might think wide sides are a positive thing but the small hole means more cleaning - whether you sit or stand - and it looks a bit weird. In my opinion this is quite the issue.2. It doesn't sit flush to the basin from the sides, the gap is quite large.3. Despite measuring all I could and having a d-shaped toilet seat, it's still not a great fit to my toilet. The D on this one is more curved than on my toilet and leaves it an awkward fit. It's not ideal.I would return this if I could, but as it's a hygiene product I can't. I will stick with it but likely will try to find a better seat in the next year or so. So I am not happy with the appearance.For sturdiness, it seems fine but only time will tell. I am writing this review in September 2023 and assume I’m happy with sturdiness and longevity if I haven’t edited this reviewEDIT: It is now November 2023 and the metal parts have already become rusty and ugly. I have an “elongated” D shape toilet. So it’s narrow (335mm) and 420mm long. Perfect fit. No instructions, but fairly easy to work out how to fit - I’m a female pensioner. It clips off for cleaning too

Great fit for smaller D shaped toilet. It comes with fittings but all it needed was a slight adjustment to the existing topfit locating dowels and it slotted straight on. Sorted.

For some reason most retail stores don't stock seats to fit small micro size toilets, this one fits fine and the slow motion close works well. Designed to fit a wide range of hinge sizes but as a result it can take some time to get it adjusted perfectly. Some instructions would have been nice.
