It's clean. The quality on this is super incredible. The mask is soft made with part hard and silicone rubber. Easy to use and adjust. Plan on purchasing more.

This mask is made of thick, durable rubber with six adjustable straps and a gasket to fit closely around your face to create a good seal. The eye holes come covered with plastic cling protectors to keep from getting scratched during shipment and storage. You can peel them off for use and then put them back in place for storage.The respirator port for exhalation screws off and has a membrane that can be taken out and washed as needed. The mask is not roomy enough to wear over top of glasses.The left side has a port for attaching the included charcoal filter. The filter has a 20-year shelf life. There are no instructions included in this box and no manual stating what it will or will not filter. It says that it meets the National Standard GB 2890-2009. This is a Chinese standard for non-powered air-purifying respirators. The filter canister says that it will work in environments with as little as 17% oxygen to filter out smoke and particulates along with high concentrations of carbon monoxide.The filter has a screw off lid that needs to be removed before attaching it to the mask. It also has a rubber stopper on the back side. You must pull out the rubber stopper or air will not flow through the filter.The mask is easily cinched down to make it tight against your face. Familiarize yourself with how the latches work so that you can understand how to loosen it to remove it. If you are a little bit claustrophobic this might be initially difficult to wear. But once you realize that you can breathe through the filter, it gets better.With the filter installed on the mask, it is lopsided with extra weight on the left side. This can be compensated for by installing the filter before putting on the mask. It can then be cinched down in a way to counterbalance the weight a bit.

The media could not be loaded. This is a very cheap mask . I wouldn't recommend it if you are wanting it for a life saving scenario . Very easily comes apart . I think company shouldn't advertise these as a NBC mask but just as a costume mask . This is a misleading advertisement could cost someone their life and that's real Talk.. I won't even be returning this mask due to I'm afraid it will be resold as a used mask for cheaper price and I could be helping take a life I'll just take the money I loss and move on it's not worth someone's life....

Bought for my son for a Halloween costume. Great quality, he loved it.

I was excited to use this for some work I have to do, but immediately when I put it on it was hurting the bridge of my nose. Now I don’t have a huge honker on me either! I like that the straps are really easy to adjust and stay out once you have them where you want. I could never get it to sit comfortably though. I think that’s also why the lenses kept fogging up too. I’ve also been concerned because it says they’re rated for smoke and particulates, but I can’t find anywhere what a CBRN Filter-20 SOF is actually rated for. All in all it IS a full face mask and any 40MM cartridge will/should be easily attached. If you can just get it to sit right on your face…
