This seems like a very poor attempt. Looks great out of the box but simply not visible from the road. The laser cut engraving is so faint no one can read it unless they are stood a couple of feet away, which means I’ve already missed parcel deliveries because the delivery companies cannot find the house.

This item arrived quickly and was well packaged. It is attractive and offers reasonable value for around £16 inc. p&p.I have to say I was a little disappointed by the engraving aspect of the sign. The Amazon description describes the item as being 'beautifully cut by master craftsmen' and, in my opinion, this is an exaggeration. The sign is actually 'surface engraved by laser' and the depth of the engraving is negligible. Looks good but don't expect anything more than the most superficial of engraving. Having spoken to the suppliers about this I hope the lettering lasts in the way they have suggested.

Bit disappointed really. Whilst the slate does look well the engraving is very shallow as has been mentioned in other reviews. Also the painting of the lettering is grey and is quite difficult to see. It can't be seen from the roadway less than 10 meters away.Delivery took an age (dispatched 30th November and only arrived 21December) and while that was my fault for not noticing delivery estimated time when I did contact the company to query I found them to be defensive, rude and unhelpful.Would I buy again? Certainly not from this company.

Looks fantastic and looking at other reviews I was worried about the writing losing visibility when wet but I have ran it under the tap to see if it was as bad as stated but hardly any difference there is a small difference but it is to be expected but it is still perfectly readable I'm very pleased maybe other deliveries will make it to my door new as they can see the house name

I ordered a sign for my home recording studio where I work. It's a bit of fun with the sign. But the quality is fantastic and the speed of service has been great too, especially with the new year week etc.Once you order they email you and you respond with the sign text. Simple.Thank you for your help with this and would recommend you to all!

Nice sign and happy for the price, though I was disappointed it didn't come with fixings.The engraving is very shallow and I'm not 100% sure it's not actually printed instead. This does make it quite hard to read when it is getting darker or if it is raining. That said for the price it does what I need it to.

It is not beautifully engraved as described. It’s a very shallow laser on it. To fill up the slate the font seems to have been stretched which doesn’t look appealing and feel no thought has gone into it. The school I work at could do a better job with their laser cutter. There are no screws or plugs but I wasn’t expecting that. The slate is nice however.I’ve asked to return the product and stated ‘It is not engraved nor is as described. The font has be warped to maximise the space taken up instead of retaining the original size ’
