I bought this for a few foster kittens that were transition from outside to inside. It was a finger and hand saver. Those little nails and do some damage. Great product and the length is great. Well worth the value.

Worked well for taking care of an injured feral cat who is very distrustful of humans. Also, used for fending off thorns while trimming an out of control rose bush.

These gloves are awesome for protecting your hands and arms when cleaning pets, breaking down cardboard, moving items, or doing yard work. Very durable and comfortable.

I watched the video with someone wearing these gloves. That should have been enough for me. But because the gloves go over the elbow and the price was decent, I took a chance. The problem is that the leather is supple. Supple leather can be pierced by a rose thorn, sharp tooth or claws. It would offer very little protection, in my opinion, for the wearer. I'm returning these and for certain items, I'm going to buy my goods from elsewhere.

Ever tried bathing your cat? If so, then you know how dangerous those fluffy balls can be once water touches them. Gremlins, anyone? May as well have fed them after midnight. You're lucky if you haven't been skinned alive or have had to have a contractor come to your home to repair the damage done to your structure from those wet rats completely demolishing everything in their vain attempts to be free of you and your pretty smelling shampoo.While some of you may have cats that actually enjoy being in the water, the rest of us most usually suffer many war wounds when the time comes that we have no choice but to bathe our cats. Thank the heavens it isn't often, but when they get into something so foul that the stench of their mere presence makes you gag, it's time to put on our armor and pray to the gods for a quick and easy bath. Not only do we need to remove anything and everything from the vicinity of where we plan to bathe them, we must find clothes that we don't mind being torn to shreds during the process.As for our armor, garden gloves are decent enough, but they don't rise high enough on the arms to truly offer protection from those little daggers we call claws. In fact, they can be detrimental to our safety as they give quite a bit of leverage to our beloved furbabies if they reach the end of those gloves and use them to spring themselves upward (usually toward our chests and faces), making us scream out a prayer that we get to keep our eyes. At that point you have to weigh your options: Let go of the cat as bath time is now over, or hold on for dear life and pray you can calm your little wet ball of fur to finish up.These gloves work! They're thick and high enough to protect against even the wildest of Gremlins. If they can do that, I'd say they'd work great for dealing with most wildlife.(Please note, I do not recommend bathing your cat frequently unless it's absolutely required. Cats are very clean creatures who do a remarkable job at bathing themselves and often times require no assistance from us lesser creatures. I also don't approve of forcing your cat into a bath, as the stress it can cause to your furbaby can be irreversible and has been known to break their trust in you. Definitely not worth it if you're bathing your cat just to bathe your cat. No cats were harmed in the product testing or writing of this review.)

Great for handling my cat whilst clipping it's nails - very tough material that my cat can't bite through.

Paire de gants très utile quand on attrape un animal qui essaie de griffer ou de mordre. Ceux-ci montent jusqu'au dessus du coude. Par contre, du fait qu'il sont un peu larges, ce n'est pas facile de maintenir la bête qui glisse assez rapidement et les doigts étant bien épais, on ne peut pas serrer et maintenir une pression comme on veut. Néanmoins pour attraper et mettre direct dans une cage, ça passe.
