Ok but nothing special.
Reasonably solid-looking construction and prompt delivery. Appears to be a tolerable blender but so far it performs slightly poorer than my old Sainsburys one even at blending fruit (and the Sainsbury’s one was half the price). Although advertising its metal construction, the gear holding the drive shaft is plastic (checking reviews of various blenders this seems to be the most common complaint when they cease to function). The higher wattage doesn’t seem to deliver any extra power. It comes with a minute instruction book written in the tiniest print in several languages (including poorly written English) which warns of all the things it shouldn’t be used for, including not using the chopper to chop ice. Concerns emailed to the supplier didn’t result in any reply. So nothing particularly ‘wrong’ with it, but in searching reviews I understand purchasers trying to decide between products look for balance rather than just a glowing ‘wow, it blends’ — hence I have tried to supply that and hope it helps.

Great at first but failed after 2 and a 1/2 months.
I originally gave this blender a five star review. It was fantastic, powerful and did everything I wanted it too. I used it most days. My last blender lasted 10 years and I expected this one to do the same as it's build quality seemed more robust. However, after two months of use the blender started to make a strange sound and shirred off the connector so it is now useless.

a horrible smell of burning plastic
On second use the turning part sheered (see photos), a horrible smell of burning plastic. Total rubbish, do not buy!*Update* Seller gave full refund for faulty product.

Fantastic value compared to better known brands such as Bosch, Kenwood and Philips
Everything looks great. A good, solid piece of kit. I have tried the chopper and was concerned that it may not chop a small amount well, but it did. I just minced a pack of Waitrose Thai chillies with some rapeseed oil so that I can keep minced chillies ready to use in the fridge at all times and it chopped them perfectly. I will come back with regard to longevity. I had a Philips hand blender before for many years, with attachments, but the chopper attachment broke, the blade stopped spinning. A new Philips is £60 and does not even have a chopper with it anymore! It looks as though a lot of the Bosch ones break down. On my personal experience Bosch are over-rated and expensive. Since I looked the other day they have introduced a 3 year guarantee (or at least have splashed this benefit all over the page, if it was there before and a bit hidden, you can’t miss it now!). I should think so as their version is £90! I'll take my chances with the Cookhouse version this time and see how long it lasts, it looks exactly the same as the Bosch one anyway. Maybe they are all made in the same factory in China?? This Cookhouse version is also a lot quieter than my old Philiips one too.

Purchased September 2017
Bought this in mid September, I have used it every day since to make oat flour, sauces, smoothies, date paste and crushing cashews. I have the hand blender part to crush frozen fruit. It is more powerful than my old MR 800 watt blender, so far I am pleased with it. Will just have to see if it lasts as long as my old which lasted just over 4 years.*update* mid August 2019, blender motor just stopped working, contacted seller and they replaced it within 7 days, as it was within 2 year warranty.

Broke after 18 months of low to moderate use.
I suppose it depends on what longevity that you expect for what price but this machine (probably gets used 2-3 times a week) has died after only 18 months of use. While very powerful, a lot of the connection points are plastic and one has sheared off such that the whole set is now unusable. Disappointing and more plastic landfill. 😑

It and the attachments are well constructed and nicely finished and are equal to more expensive models
This compares favourably with models from more well known brands that I have had in the past. It and the attachments are well constructed and nicely finished and are equal to more expensive models. The motor is more powerful than my previous blender but is no noisier than that 750 watt. I have only used it once so far but I am sure that it will be durable. What is not mentioned is that in addition to the attachments a smallish nylon bristle brush is enclosed that is ideal for cleaning the blender and attachments. All in all I think it was a wise purchase and very good value for money

Not as durable
Looks solid, powerful engine but not as durable. I bought the item in Feb 2018. I have used it daily for smoothies and occasionally for chopping. The engine stopped working in September 2018. Amazon agreed to a full refund. In my opinion the handle is not ergonomic enough and on the heavy side. The attachment safety mechanism takes getting used to and not as straightfirward as the screw & click on type. It does perform but durabilty needs to be improved together with ergonomic design and weight.
