There is a phrase in life which is 'you get what you pay for'!I recently purchased the butchers block and it is beautiful. Beautifully made and beautiful to look at. It is heavy (but it is solid wood), it was packaged superbly and arrived when expected.I would not hesitate in recommending use of this company, I certainly will be using again in future.

Didn't realise how big and very heavy this chop board was going to be,....But don't get me wrong its Super Cool an amazing item, sturdy, and very high quality. Im sure i will still use it just dont know where to put it in my kitchen, as i wanted it on show but its just too big and chunky to fit anywhere. It may have to be put away in the press till i need to use it. Little disappointed.

I’m so disappointed with this rubbish chopping board. It was supposed to be the centre-piece of my lovely new kitchen and although I’d read some negative reviews, I went against my better judgement and took a chance because I loved the style. Despite being very well packaged, the board is tatty and looks like it’s falling to pieces so I’m assuming the damage has not been caused in transit. It’s really heavy but is clearly not real wood and I suspect if I was to take it apart, there’d be a lump of concrete or something between two pieces of cheap plywood. I just can’t believe people can get away with flogging poor quality items like this. It’s daylight robbery. However, as I simply can’t be bothered to package it and return, I will use it for now, damaged side face down, and save up for a proper chopping board from a reputable company. I wasn’t expecting professional chef standards for £50 but I was definitely hoping for better than this. Honestly save your money and go to John Lewis or somewhere.

As a block, very good.Substantial and feels quality.Is rather impractical though as, like most people, I store it on its side... When I do store it, or doesn't sit properly, due to the bumps all the way along its edge, or it puts dents into other objects (it is very heavy).Similarly, the band is great in terms of maintaining the integrity of the board, but is a bit of a liability, as water gets stuck under there when you wash it.

This was really lovely. Bought for a present for my foodie son and daughter in law. They loved it. Great for chopping and perfect as a serving plate for meat as it has the groove around the edge on one side for catching the juices when you carve. Looks nice on the table too. Nice and heavy and feels expensive.

je change parfois de planche, à cote de planches utilitaires en plastiques, celle ci a un autre role, elle est imposante en taille et en robustesse à la condition de l'entretenir et de bien la secher pour le bois ne travaille pas, look industriel au top, finition avec quelques petites defauts mais cela donne le cachet à l'ensemble, tres content de cet achat

Decepcionada....la superficie es muy porosa y se ha manchado (cortando pimiento rojo)y no se puede quitar la mancha....no merece lo que vale.

Habe das Brett in Dauerverwendung.Verarbeitung Industriestandard, aber trotzdem sehr schön.Funktionales, schweres Brett für den permanenten Gebrauch.Absolut empfehlenswert
