These worked very well this past Christmas season with the outdoor lights. There is a little trick to get the plugs in but they work. I have 2 of these and 3 of the larger weather proof boxes. I also have a few of the twist/snap on green plug covers that work well too. These boxed ones were good for the larger cords/plugs but it took be a little longer to snap the items in place. Follow the instructions and it will work. Just a bit tight with how the design of the interior snap on feature is that makes the plugs water resistant. I had to work them in a little on each side so I don't break the plastic. Overall would recommend. They are back in storage (until next Halloween) now after a month and a half being outside.

I read the reviews about these not being very waterproof, but for my use - and for the cost, I was willing to give them a shot. I use them to bundle outdoor Christmas lights - mainly to keep plugs slightly off the ground and held together (plug to plug). I'm sure water would get in if submerged, but in the winter - snow and sleet, they seem to work perfectly. Well worth the cost.

It really was not easy to get the plastic out containing the rubber gaskets. Then as you break the rubber apart you feel like you are damaging the product. It took me quite a while to figure out exactly how it works and all goes back together.Once you figure that out and hurt your fingers getting them out for the first time, these boxes work great. I actually test them with a hose first before filling with a plug. they do work, no doubt. Very durable too.

Love this purchase. I used them for my Christmas decor and for my heated kitty bowls. I also used one for my kitty tube's heating pad. They work great and are a nice big size for outdoor extention cords.

I am very nervous about electrical fires. When I first purchased these, I made sure I tested them before using on my decorations outside. Make sure all rubber pieces are in place and make sure everyting is snapped tight and you will have no issues.

Having older hands with arthritis, I found it very difficult and sometimes painful to assemble the cord connectors. Once slid into place, and that takes some doing as they are not "idiot proofed" to only go in the correct way, they are very difficult to disassemble. Also they are designed for round cords only, will not seal on a regular lamp cord unless you first wrap the cord with a gob of electrical tape.

Not exactly easy to use. the inserts on each end where the holes are very difficult to maneuver. I had to use the boxes without them. I live in an apartment, and I wanted to put lights on my balcony, but we have lots of rain in Houston. I wanted to make sure the connections were safe, and they were. Once I got rid of the rubber inserts, it was easy peasy. Taking my lights down was a snap. The secure boxes opened easily and within minutes my lights were down. I saved the box, so storage is also easy. Looking forward to next year!

Needed an outdoor box to keep the power supply for my Govee Outdoor permanent lights. I was going to get something larger, but looking at the measurements for these, I thought they might fit. Before they arrived, I was worried it could be a little too small, but turns out, it is a perfect fit for the Govee power supply plus the extension cable plug.

Not too big, not too small, perfect fit for my outdoor extension cord. Using in Canadian winter and is holding very well trhorugh rough snow storms. I really recommend this box.

A little bulky but did the job

I've purchased various brands of outdoor weatherproof boxes over the last 2 years. Most were larger form factors for different purposes. I bought these for a Christmas light setup. I was very impressed by their design. None of the other brand boxes I've purchased integrate the cable entries/exits nearly as well (as watertight) as the design implementation on these. I highly recommend this product ... and am very confident not a drop of moisture will make it inside. GREAT product.
