~This book was soo cute & such an important book which features non binary main character.~Ben & Nathan will make you “aww” throughout this book & you can’t help but melt on these pages.~this book follows our main character Ben who comes out to their parents as non binary but their parents are such douchebags....they just kick them out & ben has got no where to go. so ben calls their sister for help who they haven’t met in like 10 years. ben’s sister & her husband accepts ben for who they are & makes them go to this new high school where they meet nathan(a total sweetheart). and they fall in love with nathan.~the way nathan always keeps flirting with ben is just soo beautiful to read & the way nathan always keeps supporting ben no matter what will give you happy tears.~At times i really didn’t like ben cuz their sister was so supportive of them but they hardly acknowledge of whatever she has done to them.....and ben was always just angry with their sister for leaving them 10 years back but she has got her reasons. obviously with having such ridiculous narrow minded parents it’s tough for kids to grow up under their shadows.~nonetheless this book was really adorable. anxiety & depression were also dealt in such good manner & nathan is my favorite character in this book & he just happens to love ben whole heartedly which makes me happy for them.*spoilers*~when ben finally courages up to come out to nathan as non-binary & when they really did come out to him, nathan started crying cause he unknowingly misgendered them for almost half a year. that moment was soo cute & as i said happy tears.

This book has its moments and some pretty strong ones if I may say. When I started reading it I felt like I was going to cry in 4 chapters. But in the end I struggled with it and the reason I finished it was because I wanted to see Ben happy. They deserved it after everything their parents put them through.This was one of the two books (the other was Felix Ever After) I was excited to read and unfortunately both of them were 3 stars for me. I understood Ben's struggle around their sister in the first half but the second felt wrong in some ways. Hannah and Thomas tried, they tried everything they could. But it felt like Ben was channeling all their anger towards Hannah and it felt a little misdirected. They blamed Hannah when what she did was take a stand for them (and there was also some emotional trauma for her too).The therapy session which involved both Ben & Hannah felt like a personal attack towards her and I am no professional but shouldn't a therapist be unbiased in her opinions? Dr Taylor felt more biased towards Ben. Asking Hannah "you will do anything for them except make sure they are safe?" was a little too much. Hannah was physically abused and that's why she decided to leave but somehow her trauma was ignored.The other character Nathan, he was a sweetheart but tbh I don't know much about him other than he listens to Troye Sivan (awesome choice btw).The side characters were underdeveloped and the love story I frankly didn't see. The mental health issues hit close and they were up to mark how the author handled it. I will be reading more of the author's work but I do wish I would have liked this one better.

The delivery of this book was in a good condition I love the texture of its outer cover. About the story we all know it's an amazing book about coming out to you or parents and I love the story (even though I am just half way through it). I would like to request Amazon to send bookmarks with books. I have ordered so many books from Amazon and never got a single one and that's quite disappointing.. Otherwise I am fully satisfied with this book..😊

I really liked this book. It about being non-binary and having a crush. It is about the struggle of LGBT teen facing being kick out by their parents for being themselves. It is a love story. It is about the importance of choosing your family. One of my top 10 honestly!❤️‍🔥

I loved this book. It honestly should be one of these books u read in school for how it tells of such important subjects. Thanks for sharing this story with us, dear author.

Kind of like a fanfic/retelling of Heartstopper but with an nb character. Super sweet, portraits trauma, mental health and anxiety very accurately, supportive friends and (some) family members, standing up for one self and overcoming fear. Touches some heartbreaking topics but manages to bring things into a more optimistic frame. My kind of feel-good book. I'll re-read it for sure over ice cream when I'm feeling down.

100% soft agora que eu sei qual o contexto da frase do título do livro.Eu não ia dar 5 estrelas pro livro porque demorei pra ler e perdi um pouco da animação, mas não achei justo já que era uma coisa minha e não do livro em si.A história é fantástica e isso é fato. Foi super fácil gostar desses personagens, a conexão entre eles é maravilhosa! Além de que a leitura também foi um aprendizado. Amo que teve um foco muito bom sobre como é importante conversar com um psicólogo.Gostei muito e valeu super a pena.
