It's a matter of individual taste
I love dark chocolate, and I love the idea and preparation behind this product: fair trade, thoughtful process, etc. The flavor, however, just doesn't do it for me. My palette is apparently not as progressive as the rest of me. I won't buy it again, but that doesn't mean someone else won't find it irresistible.

where is the ginger?
I like Taza chocolates and have purchased them before. I like the gritty stone-ground texture. Surprised I could barely taste the ginger. So subtle was too subtle. I gave it away to a friend.

Overpriced
Not worth current price of $8.99 ($57.53/lb). This is NOT $50 a lb chocolate.Edited to add: I wondered why my wife was taking so long to eat this. I tried a piece. Oh, god. I would almost pay to *not* eat it. Downgrading rating.
