Django Reinhardt Definitive Collection: The Definitive Collection (Guitar Recorded Versions)

Confusing to follow (even the tab) very "stiff" transcriptions and overall just very disappointed by this book. Don't understand what all the great reviews are on about. I never return tab books as I feel they will always have something interesting to take away from but not this one..straight to return request on Amazon.For me Nuages is one of my favourite Django tunes and the material I have found online is so much more true to the song than the one transcribed on this book. I know there are many different interpretations in the Gypsy Jazz world but this book just overall depicts the supposedly Django recorded versions and I don't think it somehow does it.

Formidable stuff but with patience and practice some classic Django pieces could be within your reach.Meticulous transcriptions - much to be learned here.
