Louis Armstrong: Live At The Hollywood Empire 1949

One of the first records I ever bought was the 12 inch 78 rpm edition of Back o'Town Blues and St. James Infirmary from the Town Hall Concert in 1947, and I was to become a Louis fan ever since. I thought I had heard most of the recordings (live or otherwise) from this band,and was very pleased to yet discover another. Much routine, yes, but top class and entertaining routine which is well worth listening to. Recording quality good considering the cicumstances.
