I bought this because I wanted to.The stone I received is pretty and has a nice shape. it feels good in the hand.It has a nice weight to it.The other one I purchased as a gift - Lapiz - was also nice but by luck of the draw - the coloring at the top with the straight cuts showed as more white so didn't look as pretty/polished. but I was still happy with it since you only noticed when focusing and the recipient liked it also.It is about a 1/3 of an inch deep so not skinny - like I said - it is comfortable to hold.
